CUET PG 2025 Cut off will soon be released by the participating universities of the exam individually once the counselling registrations are made. NTA will not release any CUET PG 2025 subject-wise or university-wise cut-off separately.

CUET PG 2025 was held from March 13, 2025 to April 1, 2025 at the allocated exam centres across the nation. CUET PG results 2025 released on May 6, 2025. Post result declaration, the CUET PG 2025 participating universities will start their counselling registration process. On the basis of registrations made and seat availability, each participating institute will release the CUET PG Cut Off 2025.

CUET PG cut off is the minimum mark applicants need to secure to get admission in college/university. The participating universities will release a particular subject's cut-off separately. CUET PG cut-off 2025 for famous universities like Delhi University, BHU, JNU etc will be high compared to other CUET PG 2025 participating institutes.

Based on the previous year's trend, overall the following CUET PG 2025 expected cut off can be a good score for the candidates to get admissions:

General Category: 190-210
OBC Category: 180-200
SC Category: 170-185
ST Category: 165-175

Q: What will be the CUET PG Cut off 2025 marks?

CUET PG 2025 is a nation-level exam conducted for admissions to the master's degree and professional degree courses for around 197+ participating universities. NTA, the exam conducting body conducts the exam every year and the role of NTA is till the declaration of results. The exam officials don't release any specific CUET PG 2025 cut-offs.
CUET PG cut-off 2025 will be released by the participating universities individually depending upon the number of registrations made by the candidates and the availability of seats.
Since CUET PG 2025 results and university-wise cut-off are yet to be released. Based on the input taken by the candidates on the CUET PG exam difficulty level, candidates can check out the expected cut-off below:

CUET PG 2025 cut off marks, are not declared by single authority but the universities sets its own cutoff for specific courses right after the results and in 2025 the results were announced on May 5, 2025.

Q: What is maximum marks to prepare CUET PG cutoff?

Since there is a change in the exam pattern of the CUET PG 2024 exam. Now the total marks for which the exam will be conducted have been reduced from 400 to 300 marks as the total number of questions has also been reduced from 100 to 75.

So the CUET PG cutoff will be prepared out of a total of 300 marks depending on the no of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam and their respective categories.

What is CUET PG Cut Off ?

CUET PG 2025 cutoff marks are the minimum set of marks that a CUET PG candidate needs to score to qualify/enroll for a particular seat in one of the participating universities of the CUET PG exam. The cut off marks of the CUET PG exam depend on the following factors:

Difficulty level of the CUET PG 2025 Examination
Total number of seats available for a particular course
Total number of Test Takers
NIRF Ranking of the university for which the candidate a pplied for
Category of the candidate

Because of all these factors, candidate can expect differnet set of CUET PG 2025 cut off marks for different participating universities.

CUET PG 2025 Passing Marks

CUET PG Passing Marks 2025 are the minimum marks required to simply "pass" an examination. They indicate that a candidate has achieved a basic level of competency. They establish eligibility for further processes, such as counselling or further stages of selection. In CUET PG 2025, NTA doesn't specify any CUET PG 2025 passing marks such.

How to check CUET PG 2025 Cut off?

Canidates can check the below important points to get idea about how to check the CUET PG Cut off 2025. The steps mentioned here are based on the last year's CUET PG Cut Off process.

After getting the CUET PG scorecard, candidates can check the previous year cut off of different participating universities below in this page in order to get a rough idea about what can be the expected cut off for that college and particular course.
After the declartion of CUET PG Results, in some time different participating universities will be releasing the first list of the selcted candidates for the different subjects.
The candidates who had earlier selected the list of colleges in which they aspire to get enrolled during the CUET PG 2025 Application form, can check for those particular colleges/ universities whether there name has appeared in the fisrt list or not .
If the canddiates name has not appeared in the first list in any of the universties they have selected, they can wait for the next list which will be released, if there will b any vacant seat found in the colleges.

Q: Who will determine the final merit list for CUET PG Admission?

NTA will generate the Score Card only. After that the admission exercise (including counselling) shall be handled by the participating Universities/Institutions officials only. Scores and candidate data would be shared with all the participating Universities. The CUET PG 2024 Merit list or Cut off will be made after all the process of counselling is being conducted by the participating universities of CUET PG 2024.

CUET PG 2025 cut off will vary from univeristy to university. The CUET PG 2025 participating institutes will release their subject wise CUET PG 2025 cut off on the official website after the declaration of the results. Q: Is the section A score considered by Jawaharlal Nehru University for CUET PG merit list?

The exam pattern of CUET PG is such that, these 100 MCQ questions will be divided in two sections. Section will consist of 25 questions on Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability and Section B will consist of 75 domain-specific questions. While making the merit list of CUET PG courses by JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University), they doesnot include the section A marks scored by the candidates. Therefore the final marks out which the CUET PG 2023 merist list is made are 300 marks.

Q: What is CUET PG passing marks?

CUET PG 2025 Passing Marks are the set of marks upon which the test takers were able to get their names into the participating institutes of the CUET PG 2025 examination. If the candidate wants to know whether they have passed the CUET PG 2025 exam or not, they are required to check the cut-off marks released by the participating universities and colleges.

After the declaration of the CUET PG result, all the colleges or universities will release the course-wise passing marks or CUET UP cutoff, which will be used for shortlisting candidates for admission to PG courses.

Q: What are the changes introduced in the CUET PG Exam?

Below are the list of changes that have been introduced in the CUET PG exam for the academic session 2024-2025:

There will not be any general paper for CUET PG exam. From this year the candidate can choose General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers would be English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during registration.
CUET PG Question paper choice reduced: Until last year, candidates were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all but from this year on, candidates can choose maximum of four question paper codes.
Duration of Exam would be of 105 Minutes.
The Question paper will have 75 Questions.
