B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2027

Good academic and campus life.
Placements: Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology course, B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Passing-out batch is 2027. Placements are average. The highest package offered in my course is 15 LPA, the lowest package offered in my course is 3.5 LPA. The average package offered in my course is 7 LPA -8 LPA.
Infrastructure: KNIT provides decent academic infrastructure and essential campus facilities. The laboratories and library are useful for academics, while hostel and mess facilities are functional but could be improved in terms of maintenance, good quality, and variety.
Faculty: The teachers in the Civil Engineering Department at KNIT are well qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Most faculty members have good subject knowledge and explain the concepts very clearly. The civil engineering curriculum is relevant to core subjects of the field, including structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, environmental engineering, hydraulic engineering, surveying, and construction management. Semester exams are average.
Other: Events, cultural fest Anubhuti, and technical fest Effulgence are conducted. Connectivity is good. The railway station and the airport are near. Ayodhya Scholarship is the UP government scholarship available.

Good college, but don't depend on the college for placements.
Placements: As I have inquired at the college, companies actually come to the college. But if you expect a big package from the college, then keep your expectations low. However, it is true that if you are a deserving person, then you will get a placement. Many mass recruiters visit the college.
Infrastructure: The campus is not very big, but it is 17 acres. Although the campus is well maintained and very clean, there is a big problem with the ACs. I don't know why they don't run the ACs even though they have solar panels. Only the RJ Block and KC Block classrooms are good, while other classrooms are like school classrooms.
Faculty: The college has become autonomous, so there is a benefit from it. We don't have to give 70 marks. They have divided the exams into 3 parts: 15-15-40, which lessens the burden. The exams also come from the PDF notes they provide, so it is very easy to score in these exams.
Other: There is only 1 fest in a year, so don't expect much from the college. Although with autonomy, the curriculum is much more updated.

Decent college overall, average placements, but it relied on self-study.
Placements: Placements for our course were average this year. About half of the students from our batch got internships through the placement cell, while the rest of us had to look for opportunities off campus. The highest package was around 12 LPA, while the lowest was around 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were mainly TCS, Infosys, etc., along with mid-tier companies.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was decent but definitely had room for improvement. The classrooms and labs had basic setups, and the library was okay. The Wi-Fi could be quite slow on campus. As for hostels, the rooms were manageable. The sports facilities were just fine, nothing extraordinary.
Faculty: Teachers were quite helpful and well-qualified, although the teaching quality depended on the individual. The course curriculum covered the basics, so students had to put in extra effort. The semester exams were moderately difficult, but students could clear them if they studied.
Other: I chose this course because of the decent career opportunities in this field. The best thing about it was the supportive peer group. Campus life was generally fine. My advice was that if you wanted admission to IIMT University, you should first know the full details about the campus and course.

Most of the faculty members are very good at their work.
Placements: 60% of students placed from my course in the 2026 batch. The highest package of my college till now is 47 LPA, and placement rates are increasing day by day. They always try their best for every student for placements and encourage students to participate in campus placements.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good. The college is still trying its best to improve facilities and infrastructure. As a day scholar, I do not know much about the hostel facilities, but I have heard that the hostel facilities are good. The mess is okay and provides quality food.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is pretty good. They treat us well and help us with placements. They provide everything we lack. The passing percentage is 33%, which is mandatory for all students.
Other: I chose this course because of its ongoing development based on AI and tools. The college organizations never miss any opportunity for students to participate in social activities.

A decent college experience for students.
Placements: Placement opportunities at Axis Institute of Technology and Management are average to good. Technical training and aptitude preparations are provided to help students improve skills. Students get internship opportunities as well. Placement opportunities depend upon branch, skills, and individual performance. Since I am currently in my second year, I do not have direct placement experience yet.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for my course is good. Library, classrooms, and labs are suitable for regular academic activities. Classrooms are air-conditioned as well. A canteen and sports area are also there. Since I'm a day scholar, I do not have personal experience of hostel and mess food.
Faculty: Faculty members are a mix of good and average, some teachers are very helpful, supportive, and knowledgeable and explain every concept clearly, while others could improve. The curriculum covers important subjects required for the course and makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and regular study is important to score well. The pass percentage is generally satisfactory.

Infrastructure: The college had the best facilities and infrastructure. The quality of the mess, canteen, and sports ground was very good. The quality of food in the hostel mess was also very good. The medical facility was good. Inside the campus, there was a bank, hospital, and all good facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching at my college was very helpful for our best career. From the basics to detailed discussions in the classroom, teachers gave us chances to show our character and understand what we could do. So that throughout all 4 years, we could give our best.
Other: I chose the CS branch because of NEST placement and because it was the best college for this course in Lucknow. I wanted to give my opinion to choose this college to make your future. In my college, scholarships were provided to students. Events and fests were also organized.
