Aligarh Muslim University BA admission is a multi-step process. It starts with online application. For this, candidates can visit the university's admission portal on its official website. BA admission at the university is completely entrance-based. Hence, the next step is to appear for an entrance exam. Depending upon the BA specialisation chosen by a candidate, the admission is provided based on candidates' marks in either AMU Entrance Exam or CUET-UG. The cutoff for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) changes every year and is influenced by various factors such as the number of applicants, The admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics at AMU is based on the entrance exam conducted by the university. The 2022 cutoff for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics at AMU has not yet been released. However, the cutoff for the previous year, 2021, was 80-85 marks out of 150 in the entrance exam for the general category candidates.

For undergraduate admission to courses, including BA (Hons), BVoc and BSc (Hons) through CUET-UG, candidates must have a valid CUET-UG score. For BA (Hons) admission, candidates must have to attempt the Domain/ General/ Languages sections of CUET while appearing for the entrance test along with the minimum eligibility criteria set by AMU. Final selection for most of the UG and PG courses via CUET is based on candidates' performance in the counselling round. AMU offers MBBS courses at the undergraduate level, candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University to apply online. The total seat intake for Aligarh Muslim University's MBBS course is 145. A total of 5 per cent of seats are reserved for persons with disability in various courses of study over and above the approved intake, wherever applicable. AMU MBBS cut off 2023 is based on NEET scores and finally on NEET Counselling. NEET 2023 Counselling has been released up to Round 4. The university also offers BDS courses. The counselling for BDS has been concluded after Round 5. AMU Medical cutoff for NEET UG Last Round seat allotment was 8597 for MBBS and 31517 for BDS for the General category candidates belonging to All India Quota. To be eligible for BTech at Aligarh Muslim University, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria by the university:

• Class 12/equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics OR
• Diploma in Engineering from AMU or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

AMU MA is a two-year postgraduate programme offered in the full-time mode. Candidates who have scored at least 50% in Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to pursue MA at the university. Hence, a candidate scoring less that 50% in their graduation degree is not eligible to apply for the programme. Such candidates can pursue MA at some other college or university. BTech admission at Aligarh Muslim University is provided based on the candidate's performance in AMUEEE. Hence, in order to take admission at AMU for BTech, candidates must visit the official AMU website and register for the entrance exam. This process can only be conducted in online mode. Following the entrance exam, candidates must register for the AMUEEE counselling. Candidates who secure the cut-off ranks decided by the university for various counselling rounds will be allotted seats for BTech at the university.

Yes, Aligarh Muslim University offers a two-year full-time B.Ed course at the undergraduate level. AMU B.Ed admission is based on candidates' performance in a departmental test conducted by the University. The B.Ed course is offered at Aligarh, Malappuram and Murshidabad campuses. The total seat intake for the Aligarh Muslim University B.Ed course is 100. Candidates seeking admission to this course also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. For AMU B.Ed admission, candidates must have passed BA/BSc/BCom with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 

The highest package offered to the BA LLB batch in recent placements has not been released yet. However, the median package offered during 2022 placements is available in the NIRF report 2023. During 2022 placements, the median package for BA LLB stood at INR 12.30 LPA. Earlier, the median package offered during 2021 placements was INR 10.20 LPA.
