Candidates who have completed Class 12 or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate can apply for Banaras Hindu University BA (Hons) course. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, aspirants must also pass CUET-UG for admission to BA (Hons) programme.

Admission to the BA (Hons) programmes at BHU is based on CUET-UG scores. Only the students with a valid score on this exam are admitted by the university. The entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Moreover, CUET-UG exam was is usually held in May. Candidates must download their admit card on time to take the test.

Yes, the university offers three-year BA (Hons) courses in the stream of Social Sciences and Arts across multiple specialisations. The UG-level course is offered on the main campus and through BHU-affiliated colleges as well. For admission to a BHU BA (Hons) course, aspirants need to complete the CUET-UG application process. NTA carries out the registrations in online mode. Eligible students can visit NTA CUET 2025 website to apply. The application process includes registration, form filling, document upload, and payment of the application fees. Further, to submit the application successfully, candidates must pay the fee on time. Admission to most of the BHU UG and PG courses is through CUET score. However, for some courses such as PhD, MFA, etc. the university has a separate admission criteria. Candidates must check the admission requirement for the preferred course before applying for admission.

Yes, the BHU CUET counselling process for both UG and PG courses is carried out in online mode. Candidates have to visit the BHU admission portal to register for the counselling process. The form filling, document upload, and fee payment also has to be done in online mode. Fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking.
