BHU MBA Eligibility & Highlights 2026
BHU MBA course of two-year is offered in a full-time mode. The university offers MBA and MBA in International Business (MBA-IB) courses through its Institute of Management Studies. There are different courses under the special courses of study as well. BHU MBA course admission is based on merit in CAT exam. Shortlisted candidates are then called for the GDPI round and counselling. After final selection, candidates have to pay the BHU MBA fees.

No, CAT is not necessary for MBA at BHU. The university offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University (bhu.ac.in) to apply online. BHU MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance test. Banaras Hindu University cutoff 2025 has been released for admission to UG and PG courses. As per round 4 of the CUET UG BHU cut off 2025, the cutoff scores ranged between 94 and 628.46 for the B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology for the General category All India quota candidates. BHU MBA CUET PG Application Process
- Visit the official website cucet.nta.nic.in and click on the 'New Registration' tab. Read the instructions carefully.
- Fill out the application form with all the mandatory details, such as personal and educational qualifications, etc.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature as per the prescribed specifications.
- Select courses and Universities as per your preference and pay the CUET application fee as mentioned above.
NOTE: Aspirants seeking admission to IMS, BHU need to pay an application fee of INR 2,000.
2. Group Discussion & Personal Interview
Applicants shortlisted based on CAT score are called for GDPI. The schedule for GDPI is released by the admission committee. Moreover, candidates not appearing for the GD or PI on the scheduled date will be disqualified from the admission process.
3. Admission Counselling
Candidates selected are called for a counselling round. Candidates appearing for counselling must bring the original documents. When provisional admission is offered to a candidate, the original documents will be detained by the institute and will be returned after the admission formalities.

BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually jeld in March whereas, CUET-UG takes place in May. Banaras Hindu University has seat reservation of SC, ST, OBC, and other such category candidates. Additionally, seats are reserved for females, physically challenged, visually impaired, etc., candidates as well. Some key pointers related to BHU reservation policy are as follows:
- The university reserves 15% and 7.5% of seats are reserved for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, respectively for each course.
- 27% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the OBC category (excluding under creamy layer); not applicable for all courses.

- About 15% of supernumerary seats are for Foreign nationals, out of which 5% of seats shall be filled up by children of NRIs and 5% by children of Indian workers in Gulf and South Asian Countries

Yes, the BHU CUET counselling process for both UG and PG courses is carried out in online mode. Candidates have to visit the BHU admission portal to register for the counselling process. The form filling, document upload, and fee payment also has to be done in online mode. Fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking.
BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. BHU accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to several UG courses. Candidates seeking admission to BHU must apply online to register themselves. Follow the step-wise admission process as given below:
- The BHU application process is conducted in online mode through the official website of NTA (nta.ac.in). The fee for General category students is INR 750, INR 700 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and INR 650 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender.
- Candidates need to download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET 2025 and clicking on 'Download CUET Admit Card'.
- After the declaration of the CUET result, students seeking admission to BHU UG courses are required to apply online for CUET-UG Counselling on the BHU UG admission portal.
- Further, candidates are required to participate in an online counselling process for provisional admission to the course (s). After that, the final seat allotment will be done by BHU.
Banaras Hindu University course admissions is entrance-based for most of the programmes. Thus, one-year dropper student can apply for the desired course, however, qualifying the respective entrance is the a must. Apart from this, aspirant should meet the course-specific minimum eligibility requirements as well.
