BHU MBA Courses & Fees 2026: Cutoff, Eligibility, Admissions, Scholarship, Rankings, Seats

Candidates must carry the important documents with them at the time of GD & PI. These documents are verified by the authorities. The documents required at the time of BHU MBA GD & PI are:

• Photo identity proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN) with a self-attested copy of the respective document)
• Self-attested copy of the CAT Scorecard
• Self-attested copies of Mark-sheets of Class 10, Class 12
• Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST/ NC OBC)

The tuition fee for MBA at Banaras Hindu University costs around INR 10,200 - INR 2.2 L. The fee differs according to the chosen specialisation. This fee excludes other components like exam fee, hostel fee, security deposit, etc.

The hostel fee structure for BHU is INR 3,000 - INR 4,000 per semester depending upon the degree. The hostel fee does not include mess charges. Banaras Hindu University is spread across a 1,300-acre campus. There are 41 hostels for boys and 21 for girls. Additionally, there is separate accommodation for international students. BHU cutoff 2025 was released for multiple specialisations. Based on the last round cutoff, the closing ranks varied between 1489 and 14447 for the General AI quota. So, if you belong to the General category, you must target to secure JEE Advanced cutoff rank of up to 14447 or below to secure a seat at IIT BHU for BTech admission. For top branches like CSE and Mathematics and Computing, the maximum required cutoff ranks for admission were 1489 and 1924 in the last round.

The CUET BHU cutoff 2026 was published for the third round for different All India categories. For the General AI category,  the cutoff ranged from 53 to145. Hence, a safe score would be above 53 for CUET BHU admissions 2026 for this category.

CUET score required for BHU admission depends on candidates' selected course and reservation category. CUET UG cut-off for BHU admission 2026 is yet to be released. As per the BHU CUET cut-off 2025, the closing CUET UG score for admission to most courses ranged from 500 to 600 for the General AI category. For some courses, such as BSc Computer Science & BSc Mathematics with Statistics, the closing score was between 400 and 500 for the General AI category. Cut-off scores for reserved categories like OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and EWS are usually 15-20% lower than the General AI category.

Yes, the BHU CUET counselling process for both UG and PG courses is carried out in online mode. Candidates have to visit the BHU admission portal to register for the counselling process. The form filling, document upload, and fee payment also has to be done in online mode. Fee payment can be done through credit card/debit card/net banking. 

BHU offers entrance-based admissions to all its UG and PG courses. To get admission to any UG and PG courses, it is compulsory to appear for the CUET-UG/ CUET-PG entrance exams. Further, the university also accepts other entrance exam such as NEET, GATE, CAT, etc. for admission to specific courses. Hence, candidates are required to appear for the accepted entrance-exam and also meet the course-specific eligibility for admission at BHU.

BHU BSc (H) admission is strictly entrance-based. Earlier, admission was through BHU-UET, however, now the students need to take the CUET-UG exam. Yes, Banaras Hindu University accept CUET score for multiple UG courses, including BA (Hons), BCom (Hons) BSc (Hons), etc. The university is also offering admission to its PG courses based on merit in CUET-PG. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements can register on the BHU admission portal for counselling. The admission is done in order of merit based on the normalised score of the CUET (PG) and reservation policy as per the provisions laid down in the BHU PET Information Brochure.

Whether you can get BHU for the BAMS course based on the AYUSH results would depend entirely on the category you belong to. For the General and OBC AI categories, the last round cutoff was 30748 and 32844, respectively. Hence, admissions with a rank of 70K are not possible for these categories.

On the other hand, for the SC AI category, the last round cutoff was 148564. There admissions could be possible with a rank of 70K. 

The university provides direct admission to the candidates who have represented India in any game/sports approved by their IOA/Federation organized at Olympic/World/Asian/Common Wealth games/SAF and World University, as per the AIU list. These candidates need to apply for admission before the last date of admission in the course and should have passed the qualifying examination. This may apply to MBA programmes. These living expenses generally range between INR 4,875 and INR 5,375 per year. Food costs are handled independently through localized mess advances.
