Our college is a safe and good place to study in.
Placements: Our college provides average placements. We are given placements in other courses. Diversity in placements is lacking, i.e., fashion illustrator, pattern maker, seamstress, etc., are some of the jobs.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is good. Purified drinking water is provided. Washrooms are cleaned every day. The quality of the food is good. There are guards and lady guards for security. Ambulance and medical facilities are provided to hostelers. There are coolers in rooms. A mess is available.
Faculty: Our teachers are knowledgeable, but the learning experience and techniques are not the best for some teachers. They still teach with boring old methods. Students should be taught to enjoy the work rather than complete it for marks. Marks are not updated regularly.
Other: Extracurricular activities are held, but college should reward and support students more.

It is an average college.
Placements: I didn't get placed till now as I'm in the second year. Placements provided in our college are average. One of our seniors got placed in a shopping mall.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good and big that are sufficient for 15 students so that they get their personal workspace. Hostels are not good. There are two sewing labs with helpful lab assistants.
Faculty: Practical knowledge is not provided in our college. I've learned sewing as the faculty is good. Some faculty members in our college are good and some are old-fashioned. I suggest students study good books to score good grades.
Other: It is not a good college for fashion design. I recommend students who are passionate about fashion design not to take admission to this college.

Our college provides good education and bright future for students.
Placements: Our college offers good placements for fashion design students. Our seniors got good placements in reputed companies like Zara and Tommy Hilfiger. The placement coordinator promised students good and quality placements. I got an off-campus internship in the 1st year with the help of our department.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. I was a hosteller in 1st year of our course where I gained good experience. All the facilities provided in our college are good. Mess food is nutritious and tasty. Sanitation facilities are good in hostel washrooms.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, well-skilled, cooperative, humble, and helpful. Exams are tough, but I managed to get good grades. The course curriculum is beneficial for students to grow their skills.

The reality of Chandigarh University.
Placements: About 40% of students got their placements. The packages offered were from 30k-40k. Nearly 20 out of 60 students got jobs in different companies. The roles offered were Asst. Designer, Asst Buyer. A lot of students were offered jobs they did not take because of personal reasons also or because they were getting better jobs as they did not feel worth it to be working there.
Infrastructure: Equipment was there and the facilities were nice but they were very costly even when the classes were going online the next semester's fee was asked beforehand and no mercy was shown in corona time for fees. They wanted it before had 2 months earlier while we were in earlier semester food in the hostel was bad and watery but the hostels were nice.
Faculty: Teachers were nice and educated with high degrees. The course curriculum was nice. Exams were difficult because a lot of the syllabus was covered in 3 years and a lot of assignments were there. The pass percentage was average.
Other: The course was nice and informative they taught you a lot. Salary packages and hostel food and fee structure could be improved a lot.

Very much satisfied. CU is the complete package so everyone should opt CU for successfull career.
Placements: CU is A+ grade NAAC approved university. Chandigarh university gives 100% placement. It is best for placements as every student of fashion and design department is well placed from the CU. Many students work as designers at pollywood movies / series. Students have their own clothing brands. Students are placed in companies like trends, vera moda, monte carlo, etc. If you choose CU you don't need to worry about internship, placements, entrepreneurship. CU has international collaboration where they provide summer/winter internship at your dream countries like Italy, France, London etc.
Infrastructure: CU have proper infrastructure I, e well maintained labs, furniture, software, classrooms, library, Wi-Fi, AC, Projectors, tools, the latest machines etc. Cu offers well maintained quality of food, clean and properly arranged mess, canteen, gym, tuckshops, medical facilities, sports and game etc.
Faculty: CU offers a student friendly environment where teachers are 24/7 available to help and guide the students. Teachers have knowledge and experience and they are very passionate to teach students. Course curriculum is very much relevant. Fashion designers come at campus for expert talks and workshop. Industrial visits are planned. So students are ready for the industry that's why many companies do campus placement and every student in the fashion department is placed in well-known companies.
Other: CU daily have no. Of events. CU organises fest, concerts, extracurricular activities on a daily basis. If you have some talent CU provide proper training to you to enhance your talent.

It is an average college.
Placements: The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Only 5% of students in our course got placed. Roles are offered according to our specialisation. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. Companies mainly select 7% of students. This course is so costly. It contains regular assignments. Study pressure is not there, but assignment pressure is there.
Infrastructure: Our department is excellent, but the hostel facility is not good. Girls hostel has so many restrictions, and wardens are not cooperative. Food served is not good. The hostel infrastructure is not good, and they offer 4-sharing rooms for students. There is discrimination between international students and local students.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good, but some of them are partial. In giving marks, some teachers see the performance, but some see the faces then they give the marks. Teachers are not so cooperative. Many programs are conducted at our university, but the department doesn't help us with anything.
Other: I wanted to open my own label, so I have chosen this course. Campus crowd is not so good, but the campus is clean and beautiful.

The campus is good.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Top recruiting companies like Tommy Hilfiger, Zara, etc., visit our campus. Many students are placed at good companies. The salary offered is Rs. 40,000 per month. Many students get internships. Top roles offered are designer, model, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Computer labs are good. A stitching lab and an activity lab are available. On the 8th floor is the fashion design department. A library is available. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are available. The canteen is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are understanding and talented. They are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is acceptable and engaging. The course curriculum is relevant. Our teachers put in much effort to make students participate. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course is its demand. Fashion is necessary for everyone and is someone's skill and art. This course is different from other streams. Many events are organised on campus, including celebrity appearances and concerts. Our college celebrates many festivals. The campus crowd is good. Scholarships are provided. Extracurricular activities are held.

I'm satisfied with the campus, teachers, and facilities.
Placements: Around 60% of placements were provided in our college. Many companies visited our college to recruit students. The salary package offered was 3 LPA to 20 LPA. All students got placed in different roles in companies. They could opt for higher studies or prepare for other competitive exams.
Infrastructure: Everything was available in our college including charging spots for laptops, multipurpose labs, and air-conditioned and smart classrooms with projectors. There were grounds to play different sports. Gym facility was available in the hostel. Good library was available in our college. Hostel food was delicious and served at a reasonable price.
Faculty: All the professors in our college were good, knowledgeable, understanding, and friendly with students. The course curriculum was updated according to the current industry trends and hands-on training.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Events, fests, campus surroundings, scholarships, and others were very good. Events organised were enjoyable.
