Delhi University offers full-time MA in multiple specialisations from a number of DU-affiliated colleges. The duration of the programme is two years. Starting 2023, DU admission to all the PG courses will be subject to CUET PG scores seat allotment. Candidates who qualify for the exam have to apply on the official website for final seat allotment.

Starting in 2022, DU admission will be subject to DUET for PG courses. However, Delhi University M.A. Admission 2021 was offered in two categories: Direct Admission and through Entrance Test. Also, along with the entrance exam, interview rounds are also conducted for admission to Delhi University M.A. Programme.

DSE admission to MA course is based on the overall DUET cutoff. Analysing the previous year DSE cutoff 2022, the Round 1 closing percentage for M.A. in Economics was 7.62, for M.A. in Geography, it was 67.45 and for M.A. in Sociology, it was 8.38 for the General category. The DUET cutoff was concluded with the release of Round 4 Seat Allotment. The closing ranks for M.A. in Economics was same i.e 7.62, whereas for M.A. in Geography was 75.78 and for M.A. in Sociology was 55.07. If taken into consideration the trend analysis of DSE for M.A. in Geography has seen a decrease in closing percentage. DU has not released its placement report 2023. However, as per the data collated from the DU NIRF report 2023, the key highlights of DU placements 2022 are presented below for the two-year PG courses including MA:

UCMS of Delhi has good placements? No! This is a Government University which does not help you in getting placements but definitely you will get better internships here as internship is mandatory which you have to do in your Last year. Although you will get stipend, It can go from 25000 per month upto 30000 per month. A lot of students opt for higher studies.
