Q:   What is the last date for DU admission 2026?
    A:

Delhi University admission 2026 is open now. The last date to apply for DU PG courses is Jun 7, 2026. For the UG courses, students have to apply through CSAS counselling after CUET results are declared. The last date is tentatively scheduled for July 2026.

Q:   Do I need 60% in Class 12 to get admission in DU?
    A:

DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.

However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

Review of Indraprastha College for Women, University of Delhi.
Placements: For all the batches, the rate of succession in the placement is 60-68 percent. The active positions, like editing, journals, other content strategies, and digital marketing, are looking into recruiting students from the M.A. in English literature with a good package. The top package offered is 8.9 LPA if students are really potential in the M.A. in English course.
Faculty: Professors calmly deal with everything in their left and right hands. They have a supreme power of commanding and expecting. They provide special training, like communication and interpersonal skills, every single day to enhance our soft skills and personal skills. It's a college for women's education that has shown women's empowerment and strength.

    Best place to explore yourself.
Placements: Subjects like history, political science, geography, etc., don't have any placement scope in DU and it's just an eligibility for competitive exams. That's all. The knowledge and depth you will find here in the subjects are really impressive and more than enough.
Infrastructure: No doubt the infrastructure and other facilities of DU North campus are fantastic. The labs, classrooms, libraries, etc., are totally good may differ from college to college but overall good. One thing that is a little bit bad is that the Jio SIM network is weak in the North Campus.
Faculty: Most teachers are knowledgeable enough but many are boring too. One bad thing about teaching is that classes have a period of 2 hours and 2 to 3 classes simultaneously. The course is relevant and adheres to the competition exam syllabus too. The passing percentage is 33 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in Political Science and international relations. It helps us to connect world affairs with our subject. It should be more practical rather than a 6 to 8-hour lecture only. Events and fests are okay in DU but the campus crowd is fantastic. I have many foreign friends too. The scholarship process is a little bit slow and not good.

The best placement and infrastructure are present in our university.
Placements: Most of the students of our university got job offers from this department. The highest package goes to Rs. 50,000 per month, and the average was Rs. 30,000. Top role offered were health psychologist, developmental psychologist, clinical psychologist, and counselling psychologist. So in my opinion, this was one of the best course in our university which grow your future.
Infrastructure: We had a beautiful infrastructure in our college. The campus was mostly green. Classrooms were properly decorated. We had a huge library where all types of books were available. The library was open for 24 hours. Our mess food quality was average, canteen was not very clean.
Faculty: All teachers were well qualified. Most of them were understanding and very kind to students. They always solved student problems. Student teachers' bond in our university was so strong. Their teaching method was too good, all students easily understood every lecture.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: The placement cell does not focus on a particular course but on all the courses in bringing companies with a varied range of profiles for all the courses so that maximum participation can be recorded. The average salary package is 2.1 LPA. It also includes Media Jobs or Mass Comm related Jobs. News media and Digital Marketing companies offer jobs to students of English Honours.
Infrastructure: Literature never gets irrelevant be it of any kind. Its like fine wine, the more it gets, the finer it becomes. Once you get a UGC NET degree after this course, you can teach in colleges where vacancies are available. Its incomprehensible for students who enroll in the course without learning the English language and do not have a literary bent. Our canteen used to have various foods that are cooked with perfection and that are offered at really reasonable prices. Our college canteen used to offer all the mock.
Faculty: Needless to mention, the faculty members are very learned. Its a Delhi University college, so its obvious that the faculty recruited are well experienced, knowledgeable and defy hierarchy. The single most important thing and the commonest among all the faculty members is that they wanted us to learn and enquire more and more. Exams are happening in the college classrooms in front of invigilators. Teachers are very strict they do not even let you move to any of your sides while you are sitting. The date sheet comes before 10 to 20 days of exams.

No, students can not get direct admission in Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies without CUET. The college accepts students for its UG programmes through CUET + CSAS process only. However, for the PG Diploma programme, students are offered merit-based seats and do not require any entrance.
