College is very good for education.
Placements: Good for biotechnology and placements. MGR University has a strong placement record, with over 170 recruiters like TCS, Infosys and HCL. The highest package offered is 24 LPA with median salaries ranging from 5.6 LPA to 12 LPA. The placement cell provides training to enhance job readiness.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. The library is also good. We have good classrooms. Wi-Fi is available in labs The university offers well equipped biotech labs, research centers and modern classrooms. The hostel has Wi-Fi, 24/7 security, study space and dining facilities. Both provide a comfortable and resourceful environment for academic and personal growth.
Faculty: It is excellent in examination. Biotechnology faculty is experienced with industry and research expertise. The curriculum blends theory, labs and projects keeping up with industry trends. Exams include internals, practical and theory papers ensuring deep learning.
Other: The university has a varying crowd with students from various backgrounds. Campus life is vibrant with fests, clubs and events. The environment is friendly and engaging offering both academic focus and fun activities for an all round experience.

Not very satisfied with. No campus life.
Placements: Not many students were placed in my course. I guess the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. the highest being 6 LPA. Companies like Wipro, cognizant, Equitos, and Ciranda IT. As far as I know, not many people were also offered internships. Biotechnologists and bioinformatics are the top roles offered in my course.
Infrastructure: We have good and secured lab facilities with well-constructed buildings. Playgrounds are available for a variety of sports, which makes us more interested in going to college. At the hostel, we have good maintenance and food facilities. Non-vegetarian food is provided for everyone, with a small canteen available for our convenience.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly to deal with. The staff is also good at teaching and student interactions. Exams are not so difficult if the students follow the instructions given beforehand by the staff. And the curriculum is also good to begin with, covering almost everything in biotechnology.
Other: My department conducts two annual events, such as a symposium on Sarvasastra and a meeting of Biozone. The college is not very eventful. No culturals and no tour.

I am satisfied to join this college.
Placements: Placements scenario was good in our college. Placements cell conducts many activities for the students and around 50,000 students got placed. The average salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. This college provides internships for the best-performing students, and I did not go for any internships at this college. The average stipend amount was based on the company.
Infrastructure: The course chosen was the B.Tech course in biotechnology, and this was one of the good courses. It provides high-tech laboratories and a library. Wi-Fi was also available. It provides a separate hostel for boys and girls.
Faculty: Exams were frequently for students. Our university laboratories were not good. Faculty members were very energetic and talented, and they clear the students' doubts. The interactions with alumni were very effective. This contributes to better relationships with students.
Other: This college provides scholarships for the students under the welfare schemes of the student. I did not avail any scholarships from this college. The management helps the students in getting the loans.

I am satisfied because of good infrastructure, placements in 2019 and faculty members.
Placements: Around 45% of the students get placed in our college from our course. The lowest salary offered is 1.5 LPA, and the average salary offered is 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Almost 100% of the students got internships from biotechnology course.
Infrastructure: As I am B.Tech -biotechnology student, the facilities provided in our course are satisfing. The food served in the hostel mess is good and nutritional to eat.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, well-educated, trained and well qualified. They are likely to be friendly with students and clears the doubts of students according to their capability. The course is growing in its field.

Satisfied with the course, facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Placement facilities are good. We had opportunities from Spinco Biotech, Visionary RCM, Biocon, and many more companies. Our senior batch around 20 students (out of 30 students) got placed in different companies. Even few got placed as QCs in many industries. The minimum salary offered was 16k pm to maximum being 25k.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with many laboratories, a library with digital access. The campus is setup with free Wi-Fi zone. There are facilities for many sports like basketball, volleyball, cricket. There is gym facilities for the students. There are many different canteens on the campus and food is also nice.
Faculty: The faculty members are well versed in their subjects and everyone is Ph.D. holder. There knowledge is well updated with modern research work. They are helpful too. There is a newly opened research too with many government funded projects. The course curriculum is much related to the GATE syllabus which makes it easier for the students to prepare for competitive exams. We have visited many industries related to fermentation, food processing, etc.
Other: There are fest, workshops and seminars conducted at a regular basis. Even extracurricular activities are conducted on a yearly basis.

Satisfied and the campus life was good.
Placements: Dr. M. G. R. Educational and Research Institute in Chennai, Tamil Nadu has a Placement and Training Cell that helps students find jobs. The cell organizes on-campus and off-campus placements, and provides training to help students develop their skills and personality.
Infrastructure: The campus is spread over 300 acres of land, with a built-up area of over 1.1 million square feet. The classrooms are well-lit and ventilated and the 64 laboratories are well-equipped and furnished with all necessary convenience to enable a better learning atmosphere.
Faculty: Semester exams at Dr. M. G. R. Educational and Research Institute (MGRERI) include continuous evaluation and semester end exams. The university website provides information about the semester end exams and communicate it to students in advance. They use this for internal.
Other: Canteen food were good.

We can study easily and placements are also good.
Placements: Don't come here for placements enjoy your college life and good for research as biotechnology has high scope you can get more job opportunities. We can easily get placed so don't worry about placements and the percentage of teaching is about an avg percent.
Infrastructure: Faculty members and facilities are good enough and good speaking and vocabulary skills and best language skills are used to teach they are well trained and good enough. Their guidance through the career and help towards our goal are good enough for our job.
Faculty: The teachers here are certified and well trained proffersor are here for teaching they are Ph.D. and research scholars. The exams are not even though if you study well and the course is curriculum relevant and exams are not tough but easier to score high marks.
Other: Our college won't have culturals but the pongal celebration onam and other events are wonderful to watch and games to participate.
