DTU - A college of dreams for many.
Placements: Placement is pretty nice for most of the branches, it's a little less in our branch, though. The highest package reached 85 LPA offered by Atlassian. MCE has an average package of 15 to 19 LPA, whereas the university average is around 15.5 LPA. MCE typically sees a strong placement of around 82%.
Infrastructure: DTU's main campus in Rohini spans 164 acres and is designed to support a blend of rigorous academics and active student life. Multiple multi-storey buildings house high-tech labs and air-conditioned classrooms with ICT facilities. DTU also provides separate accommodation for approximately 2600 students across 15 hostels.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good and old. Most of the departments are composed of quite highly qualified professors with specialisation in their fields. Our branch, MCE, has good teachers, from PhD scholars to M.Tech teachers to professors from IITs. The course follows the choice-based credit system, blending rigorous mathematical theory with computer science and finance. Calculus, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics. Programming, Data structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Scientific Computing. The operations research, mathematical finance, and databases students can earn credits via NPTEL and Swayam as well.
Other: Nice college with good working facilities. The fests are also pretty good, nowadays they are getting delayed, but still come out as pretty good.

Strong academics and placements with an active campus life.
Placements: I am from DTU, B.Tech in the Mathematics and Computing branch. In recent batches, the placements were around 80-85%, which is pretty good considering the current scenario. The highest package went above 1 crore (international package), while the average package was around 18-20 lakhs.
Infrastructure: DTU provides well-equipped classrooms, which are accompanied by the latest technologies, and we have many labs and all the equipment required. Although the boys' hostel infrastructure may be mediocre and not good at all, it will develop and be taken care of over time. Campus and Wi-Fi, good canteens, sports center, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and some are even supportive to a great extent. The attendance scenario is also good. It is not that strict compared to other colleges. The curriculum, I think, is a bit outdated and needs to be improved, but this issue is prevalent all over India. Semester exams are easy to pass if you study even a day or two before.
Other: I chose B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing because of my interest in mathematics. This course offers a strong blend of mathematics and computer science. The course also offers strong placements and internships. DTU has an active campus life. There are many fests throughout the year that you will be tired of attending. Many fests such as Engifest, Yuvaan, Sanedo, Diwali Mela, etc.

Chill campus life and great placements.
Placements: I am pursuing B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing Engineering (MnC) from DTU. Since it is one of the tech branches, the placement states are pretty good. All the tech branches here have more or less the same placement states. Talking about my department in particular, the official placement data of the year 2024 placed students 82.89%. The highest package offered was 85.30 LPA. The average package offered was 18.90 LPA while the overall average of the B.Tech course, including all the branches, was 15.45 LPA. Some top recruiters are Microsoft, Atlassian, Sandisk, Accenture, etc.
Infrastructure: If I talk about the overall infrastructure of the campus, then it is probably one of the best things here. The classrooms are equipped with all of the facilities, including centralised A/C and projectors. The library is also very well built and provides a very peaceful environment to work. High-speed internet is also available in the library. Although the girls' hostels are newly built and have a well-made modern infrastructure. The boys' hostels, on the other hand, are really very bad and congested. Hostel availability is also very limited here.
Faculty: The quality of faculty varies department to department. My personal experience with faculty members has been pretty decent. The lectures are not that helpful, in the end, we have to study on our own before exams. But the faculty members are not that strict with us and assign very limited work. The labs, although, have been the most painful part of it all. Exams are not that difficult, even if you study well in the last 2 weeks before exams, you are expected to score above average marks. The overall academic life is not that hectic.
Other: One thing that I really liked about this college is the societies here. There are so many societies, and they have so many talented people there who are doing so much with them and achieving so much good. There is a society for almost every interest, and they provide a very useful exposure and learning environment.

It offers average facilities. The college is good.
Placements: Placements are good, but decreasing every year, and it is the same for every college, except for some IITs. The average offered in my branch is 15 LPA. 60 to 70 percent is the placement ratio here. I am in the first year, so I have only this much knowledge about placements. The department is good.
Infrastructure: The college has fewer hostel facilities. I am living 130 KM away from DTU, and I still have not got a hostel. My hostel friend says the food is not good, and sometimes, they find expired items. Rooms are also not in very good condition. The 2nd year boys' and girls' hostels, which are newly built, are good.
Faculty: It charges Rs. 7,500 for one subject back. We have to score 21 from MTE and ETE. We have to score 35 from MTE, ETE, PRS, and PRE to not get a backlog. Some subjects are very tough, like electrical and electronics, in which many students fail. Some subjects are relevant, and some are not.

Good university, amazing placements.
Placements: Around 85% are placed, the highest package is around 85 LPA and the average is around 18–19 LPA. Top recruiters are Apple, Google, and Microsoft. Not aware of the exact internship percentage, but it is similar to the placement percentage. IT roles are offered similar roles to Computer Science, and often similar packages.
Infrastructure: Good Wi-Fi is available. Rooms are also clean, and the mess is very close by. A pool table, treadmill, and some weights are available. There is a study room in the hostel. A library is also available to study in. Wi-Fi is also available there. The labs for Python, etc., are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. If you express doubts, they’re willing to help. It does from the 2nd semester onwards, we only have Mathematics and Computing-related subjects, so that is good. Semester exams are manageable if you study. Pass percentage is high, like 90%.
Other: I am interested in mathematics but would like to have a computing touch as well. I think we get high exposure and also understand the background information of computers. I think that within the 1st semester, we should have a few more courses to do with MnC. Events and fests are top-notch, and the crowd is good.

Good Infrastructure and placement record.
Placements: Students who are willing to get a placement are placed up to 95%. The highest practice touch to round 1 crore per annum. The lowest package is 6 LPA in my branch. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Atlassian, Cisco, Adobe, Sprinkler, Tech Mahindra, and many other companies, including startups, and students are free to participate in any of the interview grounds by fulfilling their criteria, etc.
Infrastructure: All college hostels are fully equipped with AC and well-established infrastructure. They offer high-speed Wi-Fi, ample water supply, nifts for convenience, and a secure cleaning living space with modern amenities and comfort. They ensure a perfect environment for study and relationships.
Faculty: Highly qualified teacher with good experience teaching methods, using PPT, and even doubt sessions, also extra class support for weaker students. The subjects in my branch are new as per current tech demands, including AI, machine learning, etc. Semester exams are a little bit difficult, but previous year question papers help a lot. Passing percentage is 40% I think, but it is very easy to score passing marks.
Other: Due to its rich culture, famous for its growth and learning environment, I chose this college as there is no such workload, students are able to contribute to their extracurricular activities and other domains. I want the academic syllabus to be updated as per the new technology appearing in the market. The campus is awesome, fully green and clean area of 184 acres, including a sports complex, gym, library, academic blocks, twin towers, Raj Soin Hall, etc.

The review basically summarises all the pros and cons of DTU.
Placements: As I am from the mathematics and computing branch, so about 40-50% of students who participated in placements got placed. The highest package is 35 LPA and the lowest is not known. The average package is 20 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Uber, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. Students who score above 9 CGPA got a fair share in internships on the campus. Top roles offered are AI ML engineer, software developer, data scientist, and some consulting roles because of good financial knowledge.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and the beauty of the campus are very good. The Wi-Fi at labs is not sufficient, and we often use our own data to connect to the internet. Classrooms are good both at Pragya Bhavan and academic block. Labs are equipped with high-tech computers with good core processors. Hostels available for 1st years are not good and so the mess. But for seniors, there are good hostels for boys. The food availability on the campus is good. We have several places to eat on our campus like Nescafe, Amul, KitKat, Bistro, Udupi, and Hims Cafe. Sports are also good.
Faculty: We are taught mainly by assistant professors, PhD scholars, and guest facilities. The teaching experience is not as phenomenal as it is in IITs as well we need to study on our own. The course curriculum so far is good in the MNC branch, and we have been taught various courses in Maths and computing. Since I am in the first year I don't know much about our later curriculum so I cannot say anything about the industrial aspect. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty level and scoring above 9 CGPA is still a challenge.
Other: I chose this course because I liked Maths since my JEE days and was always keen on learning more about Maths and exploring tech at a greater level. I was getting core branches in new IITs but still chose this because of the industrial aspect and placements. Events and fests of the college are top-notch and are of great importance for students all over Delhi. The crowd is good and knowledgeable. The connectivity of the college from the metro is also smooth.

Review of Academic and Infrastructure Aspects of Delhi Technological University
Placements: Almost 75% of students are placed each year. The highest package is always around 80 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Google, Apple, IBM, Microsoft, Nvidia, etc. Around 20% get internships in companies like Zomato, Rapid, etc. This course generally consists of Math with a little twist of Computer Science. This course comes with a new curriculum and extra market opportunities.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present all over the college premises. Labs are well-equipped with machines and devices. Classrooms are new, with AC, digital boards, and projectors. The library is awesome, with AC and a good collection of books. For the first year, it is not that good, but after one year, we get well-furnished hostels that are newly constructed. But the feel of a hostel is literally too much. Not everyone can afford it. The mess is average, and the food is also average. A menu is followed every week. Medical facilities are available in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are a bit qualified most of them are Ph.D. holders, but they are not that good in their subjects. But they are helpful. I would rate the teaching quality 3.5 out of 5. Our course curriculum is awesome, but it is not very industry-ready because there is still a lack of presence of CS courses like AI and ML. Semester exams are not that difficult. They are easier if we study two weeks before the exams. The pass percentage is above 80.
Other: Choosing this was my main priority because it is a new branch with the latest syllabus. It is a mixture of Math and computer-based subjects, consisting of 45% Math and 55% computer-based subjects, which are similar to Computer Science. Since I love Math, I chose this subject. The quality of teachers and real-life-based assignments. Our college has one of the biggest fests in North India, like Engifest and Youvaan. Lots of scholarships are provided by the Delhi government and the college itself, and many private scholarships are provided specifically for our college.

Its a really good branch. You can appear for interviews of other branches like CSE/ECE/SE/IT in DTU. Last year, the placement records was also decent. About 80% selection was from MAC department.
