IPU course admission is entrance-based for most of the courses. Aspirants must check out the course-specific eligibility requirements to apply for admission. The university conducts IPU CET for admission to various courses. Candidates seeking admission to GGSIPU UG, PG and PhD courses must follow the steps given below:

1: IPU application process 2025 for all the affiliated institutes is conducted through a centralised application portal, which is directly accessible from the official website of GGSIPU. Visit www.ipu.ac.in and click on the 'Admission Now' button:

The list of selected students for the counselling round will be displayed on the University's Website one week prior to the commencement of counselling. 4: Allocation of Seats

IPU MBA Admission 2025

GGSIPU MBA is a two-year course offered in five specialisations. For admission to IPU MBA in IT, the university conducts IPU CET, followed by a University-level counselling process. In addition, for other specialisations, the candidate's CAT score is accepted for admission. However, if the seats remain vacant after counselling on the basis of the CAT score, then counselling is conducted on the basis of the CMAT score. IPU BCA Admission 2025

GGIPU offers a full-time BCA course at the UG level. The duration of the programme is three years and is divided into six semesters. IPU BCA admission is done on the basis of merit in IPU CET/CUET. Q: Is IPU CET exam valid for BCA?

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University BCA admission is yes but the admission will be done based on the performance of candidates in four rounds which are IPU CET entrance test, counselling round and then the admission is done. Nevertheless, the University will also be able to admit CUET-qualified candidates to the BCA course once the CET merit list has been depleted. Those who had interest are required to apply by paying the required fee of INR 2,500 to be admitted to the course of BCA in IP University.

Q: Is Mathematics required for BCA at GGSIPU?

Candidates need to complete their Class 12 or a equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate with English along with Mathematics or Computer Science or any other subject related to Computer Science to apply for BCA at GGSIPU. Hence, it is not mandatory to pass Mathematics. However, candidate must have passed one or other specified subjects in Class 12.

Besides, aspirants who have passed a three-year Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for the BCA programme.

IPU MCA Admission 2025

GGSIPU offers two-year MCA course at the PG level. It is a full-time course. IPU offers admission to MCA based on merit in NIMCET. If the seats are left vacant after counselling, admission to MCA and MCA (Lateral Entry) courses is granted on the basis of merit in IPU CET/CUET-PG. This PG-level course is also offered in the second shift (evening) by a few IPU-affiliated colleges. Candidates who have completed their graduation with a minimum aggregate of 55% can apply for the MCA course.

Q: How to apply for MCA at IP University?

For Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University MCA admission, candidates need to appear for the NIMCET entrance test. IP University MCA (lateral) entry admission is based on the IPU CET entrance test. In case of vacant seats after counselling, GGSIPU will consider Common Entrance Test (CET), conducted by GGSIP University for MCA admission. Candidates can fill out the accepted exams form through the official website of the conducting bodies.

Furthermore, eligible candidates have to go to thr IPU official website to register and fill out the application form. All the details in the online application should be filled out as per the official documents. Also, application must be submitted within the prescribed due date.

1- The application forms for all constituent and affiliated colleges are available at the university's official website. The link to the website is www.ipu.ac.in. After landing on the page, click on the 'Admission' tab.

Placements: 80 percent of people got placed and others cannot match up to the minimum company eligibility criteria. The companies that visited during my time were Nagarro 4 LPA, Aricent 3.5 LPA, IVP 5.5 LPA, Thorough Good 12 LPA, Thought Works 8 LPA, TCS, and various other small firms. The average package was around 5 LPA and the highest went up to 12 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility is average, rooms are small as compared and there is a shortage of rooms too. PGs were not easily available, especially for girls.

Faculty: The course was quite good according to IT. From the point of view of the course, it was basically designed for software engineering jobs in industries. It's a unique course that covers each and every bit in software engineering. Some faculty members were good, but overall, the faculty is a little bit lower than on paper. There are no hostel facilities inside the college, and the classrooms are also very small, just like school.
