Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: Our course had a 90% placement rate, with the highest package being 10 Lacs per annum, the lowest being 4 Lacs per annum, and the average package being 6 Lacs per annum. In addition, 90% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the classrooms and labs are well-equipped. The library is good, and there are thousands of books. There are six canteens in the university.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and qualified teachers. The teaching quality is very nice. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are easy to write, although some subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry are more difficult.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for aeronautical engineering. Hindustan University is one of the best aeronautical universities in India.

The worst South Indian college to take admission in.
Placements: Around 20% of students got placed with an average salary package of 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The placement team is very bad. They don't bring any good core companies. They don't provide any placement training. It is the worst. Companies offer internships and provide contact-based roles. There is nothing permanent. Core students are offered IT sector jobs.
Infrastructure: Labs were pretty good, but no such experienced faculty to teach and use the tools to educate.
Faculty: Teaching staff members were the worst. They are biased toward the South Indian language. They don't teach in English. They ask us to learn Tamil or Telegu but in our college, we are supposed to learn our native language or our course of study. They used to talk in their native language. Teachers just provide notes and don't explain anything. Before exams, they provide some sets of questions and ask to prepare them. Questions will come from this.
Other: Fests were pathetic only South Indian stars visited and their songs are played in our college. There is much racism for North Indian students.

To increase college placement.
Placements: Placements are not good because the college is not linking with more companies. It should tie up with more companies; it is good for both the college and students. Also, the college should look into these placements and try to convey it to its officials—that is my advice.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good; the hostel rooms are very good, and the classrooms are also good, with nice roads to walk on. The hostel bus also drives well, and the hostel food is good, including tiffin and lunch. Some people living in the hostel have security permission to go out.
Faculty: Overall, the college is good, and 80 percent pass out of the year. The overall faculty is good for studying in college. The Aeronautical Engineering course is in the top five private universities in India. It has a good reputation as a university in Chennai.

Life at the Hindustan Institute.
Placements: HITS offers placements by engaging with aircraft industries such as Boeing, AirIndia, Airbus, etc. Recently, HITS engaged in a campus connect programme with Boring. Boeing also took around 30 students from our university for an internship under technical publication and structures.
Infrastructure: Hindustan provides good infrastructure for the students especially in school of aeronautical sciences. They provide laboratory facilities such as Aircrafts systems and an instrumentation lab, an avionics lab, a propulsion lab, a CAD modeling lab, a composite materials lab, an Aircraft simulator, and a Sim crash lab.
Faculty: Faculty members in HITS are well trained professionals. They provide quality education for the students. Faculty members who are graduates from NITs and MITs are appointed for teaching the core subjects. Their efficient teaching enhances students knowledge in the particular stream.

It is the best for aeronautical engineering.
Placements: Placements depend upon the branch you choose in engineering. If you choose computer science, EEE, or ECE, then there are maximum chances of getting placed. From automobile, mechanical, aeronautical, and aerospace engineering, many of the students choose to do MS from universities in foreign. Many of the students have got a scholarship from Japanese, American, and European universities. Aeronautical students get an internship in HAL, DRDO, Jakkur Aerodrome, and other drone companies like Droneshala, etc. If you are good at aircraft propulsion structures, you can go for AME or a design engineer.
Infrastructure: Hindustan University is known for its infrastructure. It has top-class facilities. Especially aeronautical labs have good infrastructure with an aircraft simulator which is worth 1 crore, and it provides the best overview to students. There are 3 hostels, one for boys, girls and international students. The food served is especially available like north and south dishes. Hindustan has the largest basketball court in south India and also the football ground with aircraft at the end, which gives an awesome view.
Faculty: Professors are qualified, and many professors are doctorates. Senior professors like Dr. Dilip A Shah and the most experienced faculty members guide us on the good path to gain knowledge as industry 4.0 has started. Exams are quite tough, and it is according to the knowledge we gain. We cannot expect questions from the question bank or any material. It is all about testing your knowledge. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: Hindustan is extraordinary for aeronautical aspirants. It is the best place to learn after seeing the infrastructure. I decided to gain knowledge from here. It conducts many functions in the auditorium to enrich students with new technologies.
