It is the best engineering college in India.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, Intel, Nvidia, etc. Top roles offered are design engineer and research head. Almost 90% of students who registered for placements got placed in our college. Students get placed in non-core like finance, consultancy, and investments which have a considerable demand on campus.
Infrastructure: Our course has 5 buildings. The hostel is well-maintained and clean. The food served in the mess is good. They provide a well-balanced diet. They provide separate hostels for seniors and juniors. The mess provides a variety of food items. It provides all traditional Indian dishes.
Faculty: Semester exams are difficult. Our seniors conduct tutorials and help sessions. The course curriculum is partly relevant. The practical part is completely relevant. All our professors graduated either from IITs or top international colleges like MIT, Harvard, etc.

Hostel facilities is super.
Placements: About 100% of students can get placement as it IIT. And reputation of IIT is outstanding. On average every student got package of around 15 Lacs. Many of recruited them recruited by Google, And software companies like Microsoft. So, placement opportunity is good.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities is super. There is Wi-Fi all around the campus. There is 3 or 4 smart labs. Classroom is well decorated and every class have smartboard, projector. Quality of food given to students is also good. There are many games conducted like cricket, volley etc. So infrastructure can be marked good.
Faculty: Teachers of IIT is one of its pillar. Teachers are well experienced and good. Many of them have practical experience of Science and technology. This Course is very demanding have a good placement. Semester examination is conducted on time and not very much hard to pass. Just have to score passing percentage of 40.
Other: IT is good if you get selection.

Best Institute of the country for a reason.
Placements: What I have heard from my seniors placement in branches like CS and electrical are 100% or close to it. Every year we hear the highest package of above 1 crores CTC. The lowest packages are around 9lpa and average I heard about is 20 LPA. Many students take PPO given after their internship period in reputed companies like texas and Qualcomm. Many people go for software developer role from our course.
Infrastructure: Free and unlimited Wi-Fi is the best thing. Food quality in mess is just okay. Library is best place to read. Canteen foods are very cheap and tasty. Almost every sports facility is available in campus. Auto rickshaws run inside the campus and also buggies. Library is not 24*7 but reading halls are.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledge in their field. But competition is very high here that is very stressfull. Yes course curriculum is relevant but we also study some courses whose knowledge we may not apply anywhere in real life. Like many people don't want to go in core engineering have to put extra efforts to learn non core skills.

Highly qualified faculty which can provide a remarkable research exposure.
Placements: Being the number one institute in the country, a huge number of companies come for placements every year. Being greatly accessible by being in the heart of the city Mumbai, travel and reach never hinder any company to not come here. There are several Japanese companies who visit only IIT Bombay in India for recruitment. In recent time many, US-based and European companies have recruited students in high number from the college. About 90% of the student who applies for a job get placed in some of the other company. I too got a job from the institute placements. With packages ranging to over a crore every year, the average salary offered is about 16-20 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The institute has numerous clubs and festivals for social interaction and development. There is a finance club, analytics club, web and coding club, electronics and robotics club. Gymkhana association is pretty good and well-equipped with almost all sports. The institute is also the host to Asia's the largest cultural fest Mood Indigo as well as the largest technical festival Techfest which invites major groups and celebrities every year.
Faculty: Electrical Engineering at IIT Bombay is in my opinion the most diverse course with curriculum greatly overlapping with computer Science and also provides a lot of mathematical courses. Highly qualified faculty which can provide a remarkable research exposure at an undergraduate level is another positive. Meticulously designed courses and evaluation focus more on the application side and problem solving which I personally like.
Other: It is highly ranked in terms of academics and research facilities. Mumbai has very nice weather as compared to other cities like Delhi, Chennai, Kanpur etc. The campus is located in the heart of the city, with easy access to the airport and other necessities. The admission process is entirely based on JEE Advanced rank. Toppers have historically chosen this institute and this was a major contributor to my decision for choosing IIT Bombay.

Good college and worthy to join the college.
Placements: Actually, I'm still studying but people do get decent jobs and many people opt for higher education too in prestigious foreign universities. The quality of education you get here is excellent and also high-rated companies do come here for campus selections. The highest salary package offered is 1.5 crore per annum and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Almost 80% of students get internships that too in companies like google Microsoft and Adobe.
Infrastructure: This college has high-speed WI-FI available for every hostel. Classrooms, library, and everything have air conditioning. The quality of the hostel is quite good even the food is quite good. There are plenty of canteens in the vicinity of every hostel welcoming you for letting their food be served. Even there is a restaurant inside the campus named Gulmohar which maintains high quality. There is a hospital inside where you can get free medical treatment which is also nice also there are 2 grounds for sports and an indoor stadium for indoor sports.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified and persuaded their Ph.D. from prestigious universities around the world. They also maintain decent citations. The course is curriculum relevant and also makes students industry read. The exams in college are too hard but most of the students are passed only a handful of people fail.
Other: I had chosen the course because I'm interested in the subject of electrical engineering. The course is tough but I enjoyed it throughout course. There is a course in the first semester known as EE113 which creates a bad impression of electrical engineering in minds of students. There are a lot of fests happening in the college mainly tech fest, molding, and E-cell summit. People do get scholarships pending on different criteria. But only SC, ST, and students are not required to pay the messing fees.
