Review of LPU - Lovely Professional University.

Placements: In our college, placements are pretty good, but the competition is very high. Our college received so many admissions this year, which is nearly 50 thousand. There is a scope for our batch that we can get better placements if we work hard. For our course, there are low placements. In biotechnology, there are a few core jobs. If we need a well-paying job, then we need to work so hard.

Infrastructure: I can't say that the infrastructure is awesome. Our course blocks are clean and well-managed inside. The outside look is average. But the winning facilities are top grade. There is a Good Wi-Fi speed, which is nearly 10 GB per second, but in working hours, it is 2 to 3 GB per second. It is the same in the hostel as well.

Faculty: Our faculty members are the best. I cannot guarantee that every teacher is the same, but I can say we can often find good faculty members. Good ones always help students in research papers, patents, and exams as well. They give us good pointers for exams, and exams are top in our college. They are conducted very strictly and securely. The paper will be tough, and we need knowledge to answer it.

Other: I chose this course because I love my course. Biotechnology is my dream, and I can say I chose one of the best colleges for it. My course offers the best output for students. I am learning serious knowledge in science and technology. In biotech, we learn not only about Science but also about computers and AI. I wish that our college would improve its practical and industrial knowledge. Our course requires it a lot. All extracurricular activities conducted are good. Events are conducted frequently for students to join.

LPU holds a promise to produce quality engineers.

Placements: I had around 90 students in our branch, and out of that, 40% are already selected for the last year on-the-job training. The highest package this year has been 9 Lacs; other than that, the average package is around 5 to 6 Lacs, and the lowest is about 3 Lacs. The top recruiters are companies like Root Analysis and medical scribing companies. The majority of jobs offered in our course are of quality analysts, data scientists, and in sales.

Infrastructure: There are hardly any colleges that can top LPU on the basis of infrastructure. The college is visually appealing in every sense. The labs are well-updated with trained lab assistants for guidance. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and there are libraries in every department for the specific books of their course, and there is a big central library where every book could be found. The hostels are well-maintained with regular room cleaning, and every major or minor convenience faced is resolved within a day or two. There are dedicated grounds and play areas for hostels.

Faculty: The faculty assigned are all PhDs with at least 10 years of experience in their respective fields. The faculty are well-versed in their jobs and help the students grow in the field. They also provide aid in any college projects and publishing research articles. The curriculum is affiliated with AICTE and is relevant to the market. The semester exams are on the moderate side. The pass percentage is around 40%.

Other: Biotechnology is the most demanded branch after medicine. The college provides lots of future prospects in this field; that's why I chose this course. Things could have been improved by focusing more on updating the labs and the instruments.

It is a great college who gives opportunities in different field.

Placements: Approximately 99% students got placed in big tech companies. Lpu provides great source of study. My passing year is 2023. In 4 year lpu has given us many opportunities to learn new technologies. Big companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft come to the college to hire students. They give opportunities to the students to prove themselves.

Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure and well furnished rooms. For eg - there are 1 seater, 2 seater, 3 seater, 4 seater, 5 seater and 6 seater rooms are available. There is also a great mess facility. Food is clean and hygienic. Course is also great with different subjects.

Faculty: Great faculty who always helps in study and the course designed is also great. Exams are always conducted timely in lpu. Midterm and end term gives benefits to the students. Different extracurricular like cricket, dance, singing etc. are organised. Students can also pursue their degree in these fields.

Other: The main thing about LPU is that it provides great opportunities in different fields.

Good infrastructure and nice environment.

Placements: The University offers wide range of placements for the students including internships. Companies from all over the world visit the University for placements. The companies come for a specified role and so only the students with that domain knowledge can apply for them.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and room service available for the hostel rooms and students need to opt for mess and laundry separately. Mess is not so good for the South Indians. Library has wide range of books but it needs to be update with the trends in the market to improve student studies.

Faculty: Almost all the teachers are well and qualified. But few of the faculty need to improve the way of teaching, they often conduct feedback forms to improve their teaching. It provides projects for the students to make them ready to gain practical knowledge.

One Of The Best Private Universities In India.

Placements: Lpu is known for placements but biotech placements still needs to crack higher packages compared to CS E. the highest Placement package offered in Biotechnology is 12 L P. A. Average Packages of top 10 % is 7.23 LP. A. Total Super Dream offers from this course is 66. Most of them get placed in it companies or business analyst companies rather than Core biotech companies. Top recruiting companies in this course are Wipro, Cognizant,3M and many others.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent and having top quality. The classrooms are spacious and do have digital projectors. There are different labs available there such as Electronics Lab, Physics Labs, CAD Lab, Matlab Classroom, Mac lab, Chemistry lab and so on. The whole campus get access to high-speed unlimited Wi-Fi. There are thousands of CCTV footage cameras installed everywhere throughout the campus. Lpu Hostel Rooms are of quite good quality but the mess food quality is average. Last but not least hundreds of turnstile gates are installed for entry to any building which hence provide high end security.

Faculty: The teachers there do really work hard making notes in PPT and pdf format and making students understand each and every topic in details. Further if anyone faces academic problems that person can meet teacher personally for better understanding. Most teachers there hold Ph.D. degree which gives proof of their vast knowledge. The Curriculum is updated regularly each year to meet industry requirements and also to get prepared for various exams such as GATE. There are 3 main exams which are CA Mid Term and End Term. The difficulty level of these exams are average if someone study well they are more like to get good marks. Pass Percentage is 40 percent for each subject.

Other: There are various Events always going on the campus. The events are hosted by DSW ( Division of Student Welfare). Lots of singers, actors, comedians, famous internet personality visit the campus.

Placements: 90% of students are placed in Lovely Professional University. The highest package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Pulsus, Pancea Biotech Limited and Biocon. 90% of students got internships in different companies. Jr analyst, is the top role offered. .

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, playground, television and sports are available. Hostel food is good especially breakfast as compared to lunch and dinner. As I am from south India, I don't like North Indian food much. So the food available is not good for South Indians.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. They are skilled in their particular fields. Teaching quality is perfect and relevant. As this course is on life Science so it is very interesting. Difficulty level of course is based on students mind and studies.

Other: I choose this course because I like learning things about life Science. Visual representation of topics should be there so that the students can grab easily. Events are organized frequently in the campus.

Our university is not that good.

Placements: Placements are the worst and the administration doesn't care about placement. They try to show that they want you to be placed but the thing is that they want you to get placed in any of the company and roles regardless of what degree you are pursuing. Most of our batch students had to take a placement in companies which offer roles like sales manager, territory sales manager, area sales manager, research associate and all of them were ranging in 3-5 LPA salary while there were only two companies who offered 10 LPA but they were of IT sector for a core knowledge person. There were only two companies from our field of biotech that offered a package of 1.2 LPA and 2.38 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the only good thing but most of the things are bad like air-conditioners don't work in classrooms, mess food is the worst mostly noneatable, and Wi-Fi doesn't work most of the time. Library is good. There are good options for extracurricular activities.

Faculty: Most of the teachers who are not in high administration positions and teach students are good but the one who handles the responsibility of HOD, HOS, and mentor is not good. They never accept their mistakes and instead blame students all the time. The curriculum doesn't help you to get into the industry until you have prepared yourself for it. Exams are of average level.

Other: Campus life is enjoyable as they mainly focus on organising events and inviting celebrities but don't focus on study and placement. Students interested in studies is not a good place for those.

It has a friendly and knowledgeable environment in the university.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed from our university. The highest salary package offered in our course is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amazon, Nestle, Wipro, Verko, and Cipla visit the college for placements. About 80-90% of students from our course got an internship. Roles like nutrition officer, education counselor, food supervisor, lab assistant, and food inspector are offered here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities in our college are good. Medical facilities are perfect. Classrooms and labs have good equipment. University has its own indoor stadium. It has two activity grounds, so it is good for sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Exams in this college are moderate. We just have to focus on cumulative assessments, and a D grade is a passing grade for a subject.

Other: I have chosen this course because I have a keen interest in the biotechnology field, and I feel biotechnology is the future of the world. Here the events, concerts and everything is too good. Everyone will enjoy their college life here.
