Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: 60 percent of civil engineering students got placed from this college. The highest package for civil engineering students is approximately 39 LPA. The average package for civil engineering students is approximately 13 LPA. The lowest package is not available.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. There are a lot of labs available for civil engineering students. Hostels are provided with free Wi-Fi. A dispensary is available for medical emergencies. The quality of the mess food may be of decent quality.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members have completed their graduation from NITs. They have a lot of knowledge to share with students. They use both languages, Hindi and English, to interact with their students. Semester exams are a little difficult, but you can pass easily.

Other: I like infrastructure, so I chose it.

Best placements. Average infrastructure. Average sports facilities.

Placements: Placements are really good for Computer Science Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering. Talking about my branch, Civil Engineering, this year our senior Abhinandan sir has got a package of 22 Lacs per annum. This college is known for its best placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite average if I compare this college to other colleges like NIT Jaipur. 1st year and 4th year hostels are good, but 2nd and 3rd year hostels have small rooms. Mess food is average. The internet connection is not good enough to play games unless you have 5G.

Faculty: All the professors are from IITs. They have a deep knowledge of their subject. Although some lab assistants might be rude to you. This college has produced several GATE AIR 1 in the past few years. It's difficult to provide an overall view of semester exams since it depends on the subject and professor.

Other: I chose this college since it is a top NIT, and also it's quite near to my home. We have culrav as our cultural fest and Avishkar as our Technical fest.

I say it is good, not the best.

Placements: Currently, there are no placement in civil engineering in the core sector. Students are getting placed in tech sector who know about the software. 28.9 LPA is the highest package offered in tech sector. The lowest is about 4.5 LPA-7.5 LPA is the average package. Recruiting companies are L&T, Tata Projects, GMR, Simple, Afcons, and PSUs like BHEL and BPCL. About 80 percent of students got internships that include teaching as well at Wipro, TCS, and Deloitte.

Infrastructure: Most of the classrooms are old-style like school classrooms, and not IIT-type classes. The infrastructure is very old, and some of the classes, like SEW7 and SEW8, have a water leakage issue in the roof. Some classes, like NLH1 and NLH2, are very good, like an IIT type. First year hostel named SVBH is very good with all facilities like Wi-Fi, TV, badminton court, canteen, and boundary. But in the second and third year hostel, rooms are very small to accommodate two people. The fourth-year hostel is top-notch. The quality of the food is good.

Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good but not all the teachers are helpful. The course is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. If you study normal, you can easily pass. Semester exams are at a good level. Students can get marks easily. 90 percent of students pass.

Other: I want to become a civil engineer. I took this because whenever I SEE foreign countries, how well planned they are and good infrastructure facilities, then I think why not India. I wish more labs happened in this course instead of theory. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, are good. Scholarship is also available for needy students. EAA activities are allotted to every student.

First, you will have to give JEE main exam, and secure rank under 30000. If you rank under 20,000, you will get a good branch otherwise biotechnology only.
