Very good teaching institutes and property.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed from my course is 50%-60%. The highest package is approximately 10 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, HCL, TCS, etc. The percentage of students got internships is approximately 80%. Roles offered is IT engineer.

Infrastructure: The facilities of course are good. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are furnished and a library is available to self study. The hostel facilites are good. It provides us with enough things and food available is average. Medical facilities are very near and sports grounds are available for every game.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well-qualified have a Ph.D. degree in a particular subject very knowledgeable, and teaching quality is acceptable. This course curriculum is relevant. They make students ready with your little efforts. Semester exams are hard but easy to pass.

Great college can make a life really beautiful.

Placements: Percentage in 2024 - 80%, the highest - 81 lpa, the lowest - 3 lpa. Top recruiters - Microsoft, Deloitte, PwC, Amazon, ZA Associate. Internship selection around 150. Top roles - SDE, GTE, analyst, consultant, and others. So the placements here are great and are scoping for greatness in the future as well.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not up to mark. The food is some days great, other days not that good. Wi-Fi facility is high-tech. Labs are outdated, and the machines are not up to that mark. The library has a lot of space. Classrooms are comfortable and spacious. Medical facilities, sports, and all are up to mark.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and some are really great. All are IITians or have Ph.D.s in their educational catalog. It does not make a person industry-ready. Basically, you need to put extra effort into your education to get the best placement. The Computer Science branch is considerably great.

Placements: Placement is something MNNIT is famous for. For the passing-out batch of 2023, the highest package was around 135 LPA, and the institute average was around 18 LPA. Talking specifically about the civil engineering branch, the average package was 11.84 LPA, the median was around 8.5 LPA, and the highest package was 34 LPA. In civil engineering, the batch is generally composed of 120 students, out of which around 60 go for IT software and consultancy jobs where they get relatively higher placements (>10 LPA). 25u201330 students take private core sector jobs in companies such as Lnt, adani, Birla, etc. Around 30 students go for exam preparation such as GATE ES, UPSC, etc. , and 5u201310 students get placed in PSUs on campus itself. The top recruiting companies that visit colleges are as follows: Amazon, Accenture, adobe, American express, BHEL, BPCL HPCL, Hero, Honda Power, Hyundai, BEL Dell, Deloitte, Flipkart, GE, LNT, Sprinklr, etc. Placement in the civil department revolves around 90%. .

Infrastructure: In first year, students get 3/4-seater hostel, SVBH. In second year, we get two-seater rooms at Patel and Tilak hostels. From the third year onwards, students start getting single rooms, Malviya and Tandon hostels in the third year and new boys hostel in final year. In SVBH, we have : one common hall in each floor with indoor games facilities such as billiards and carrom one tv room in the ground floor 4 lifts 2 mess, 1 night canteen, 1 general store, 1 AC hall ( Vivekanand hall) Each room has a study room and a balcony attached to it. 3 LAN connection ports are provided in each room. Coming to the infrastructure of the college, most of the classes take place in the academic building. It is an old building, so it is not very good compared to other colleges, but some renovation have been done. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. There is a fully functional library with thousands of books and study spaces. There is a separate building dedicated exclusively to the CSE department. There are several canteens and cafes inside the college. For medical facilities, there is a dispensary inside the college campus itself. For sports, there is a dedicated athletics club, which is very active. The college has 1 athletic field, 1 gymkhana field ( football ground ), 1 basketball court, 2 tennis courts, 1 skate court, and 1 lawn tennis court.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified; most have done PhDs from reputed colleges (IIT or foreign universities). They are very supportive as well. You can reach out them if you want any guidance regarding your project or something. I personally took help from 3 structural engineering professors for one of my projects, and they responded positively. NEP has been implemented in the college, due to which a lot of changes have come up in the curriculum. We have been introduced to our core engineering subjects in first year itself and courses have been segregated for each branch itself. Now we are not taught subjects like basic electrical, introduction to mechanical, etc. Instead, some new subjects, such as introduction to AIML, professional ethics, and professional communication, have been added, which is a good initiative. But I personally believe that the syllabus of the core subjects also needs to be updated, which is around 40 years old.

Other: My reason for choosing this college was that it is the best NIT in North India, and it was the best option I was getting at my rank. The things that I like about my college and course are: In college, life is very good. There are a lot of cultural clubs, such as Alchemy (the dramatics club), Nishad (the singing club), dance clubs (Bhangra, Western, Marathi, etc.), and Oration Club. In addition to these, there are technical clubs (coding club, robotics club, SAE, astro club, and aero club). The institute also runs charity initiatives such as anokhi pahel (in which students of the college teach students who are economically and socially backward) and Rotoract Club. Culrav is the annual cultural festival, in which a lot of events are organized by the cultural clubs of the college. In addition to it, stars such as Mohit Chauhan and DJ Wahi also come. But there is one negative point: other colleges don't participate in culrav, which should happen. Publicity is not done properly at other colleges. Avishkar is the annual teachfest of MNNIT. Various departments also conduct department-wise technical competitions, and this has very active participation by the students, as the awards won here put a lot of weight on the resume of the candidate in placement.

Nice placement with best faculty.

Placements: As in civil engineering, almost 80 to 85 percent of students get placed and most of them are placed in PSU. That is semi-government body. The highest placement in civil engineering was about 42 lacs and the lowest was around 8 lacs. Companies like L&T, Samsung, BPCL, HPCL, etc. came in civil engineering. And if you are looking into the technical branch, then companies like Apple, Google, Oracle, Samsung, Uber, Microsoft, etc. With packages like 50 lacs to 1.2 crores.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is on the weak side due to most of the hostels being made in the late 20s. But now new hostels have been made. Currently, we have a hostel called New Boys Hostel, which is known as Mega Hostel, which has 14 floors and is very unique in design. Also, we have 24 *7 wi-fi connections all around the campus with proxy connections. Mess quality is also somewhere okay. We get different food each day, with some special food for special occasions.

Faculty: All the faculty are well educated and almost every faculty member has a Ph.D. degree. Most of them are from IITs and NITs. Our current course is running on NEP, which is the new education policy for 2020 and that is very relevant to our personal growth. Semester exams are a little bit tougher because professors made the question papers themselves.

Other: My college came under Tier 1, and it is NIT College. NIT Allahabad is one of the most famous colleges, not only for its education but also for its placement, which made me choose this college. Its campus life is amazing; we have a lot of cafes and restaurants inside the campus, as well as many sports facilities. Events like Culrav, Avishkar, and many other fests happen every month.

Life at MNNIT has been a turbulent one but what can be done. It's not that bad .

Placements: Internship opportunities are available in the third year but aren't very common or large in number. Last year, there were 150 people who got internships out of a 1000-person batch. The top recruiting companies at our college are Microsoft, Atlassian, Goldman Sachs and a few others. The average package is around 1100000 and the highest has been 1.18 crore.

Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are there for boys and girls separately but the number of hostels for girls is sufficient. Mess food differs according to the mess but overall, it is average if rated. The Wi-Fi facility is not very good sometimes.

Faculty: The teachers are interested in teaching. The semester is hard to keep up with; it depends on the branch, though. Overall, the course is difficult to medium, with frequent assignments assigned to us. The exams are conducted fairly. The course curriculum is relevant, I would say.

Other: There was no particular reason for choosing this course; it was distributed based on JEE scores but now that I have joined it, there are interesting things to learn and a whole new experience.

Candidates who are appearing in the Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2025 irrespective of their age, are also eligible. Note: List of qualifying examination(QE): i). The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/ State Board, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi; etc. ii). Intermediate or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. iii). How the counseling process is done in MNNIT do I first need to apply for addmission.

First, you will have to give JEE main exam, and secure rank under 30000. If you rank under 20,000, you will get a good branch otherwise biotechnology only.

Hello Shivam, Considering your rank ,you may not be able to get into the top NIT's but you have a fair chance for getting into GFTI's which are also reputed and good colleges .
