Q: How can I apply for MCA at the University of Pune?

The application forms for MCA admission at UniPune can be filled out via the online portal of MAH MCA CET. The application form for the same are available only in online mode on the website cetcell.mahacet.org. To apply the candidates need to follow the steps given below:

Open the MAH MCA CET 2024 website and click on the ‘apply now’ tab and register as a new user.
To register, enter your name, e-mail ID and other contact details asked. After successful registration, a registration number and password will be sent through e-mail and SMS
Post-registration, candidates have to fill out the detailed form, and upload a recent passport-size photo and scanned signature.
After the above step, submit the form. Candidates must keep a printed copy of the same with them for future reference.

I don't like my college to be honest because of long distance traveling.

Placements: About 80% of students have being placed from our college. The highest salary package offered is about 8 LPA, and the lowest package is about 2-3 LPA. They have a tie up with some companies. If a students, doesn't get any internship, they provide internships which are unpaid. Roles like software engineers, data analysis, etc., are offered.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi facility on the campus. Some labs have updated computers but some do not. Classrooms are clean and there are smart monitors in few classrooms with blackboards. Benches are comfortable. canteens are not good on campus. There is only one canteen among all which is good all over the campus.

Faculty: I don't know if every college dose that, but in our college teachers are good only for first year. They behave nice to every student without targeting any student but after first year, in the second year there are only few teachers who are supportive but others are not. Every teacher trys to target.

Other: I chose CSE in engineering because I want to become a software engineer. The best thing is it's my dream. They should replace inexperienced teachers for the betterment. Fests are held in a well-organized way. There are scholarships for girls all over Maharashtra for students from Maharashtra.

My honest opinion about UNIPUNE - Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU).

Placements: The placement in our college was good. A good number of reputed companies visited the campus every year and conducted tests and interviews. There was a placement cell in the college. It looked after placement-related work and connected students and teachers. They coordinated everything, which ensured transparency. Axis, Mahindra Finance, Asian Paints, TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, etc., visited the campus and offered placement packages. The average package range was 3–4.5 LPA. It went up to a high of 26–38 LPA. It depended on students' performance in the interview and their knowledge base. Internships were also offered.

Infrastructure: The hostel rooms were big and spacious. Rooms were available on a single-sharing basis. The rooms were cleaned regularly. The mess food quality was good and healthy. Proper student hygiene was taken care of. The hostel staff and warden were professional and supportive. The hostel also provided 24-hour high-speed internet connectivity. The hostel provided coordinating facilities to keep students safe, secure, and comfortable.

Faculty: The course began with the basics of business management and business functions. It involved all the basic aspects of management. A lot of market research and case studies were provided during the course. It made all the candidates realize the current market scenarios and conditions. It helped a lot of people to understand how exactly an enterprise functioned in a given market condition. Faculty members of the department were well experienced. Apart from their professionalism, faculty members also helped students who were morally, mentally, or financially unstable. They behaved like a family. They were always ready to help us and clear our doubts. The course curriculum was good. It offered us the opportunity to understand the topics in detail. It covered all the required topics that should be included in management courses.

My honest opinion about MET League of Colleges, Bhujbal Knowledge City, Nashik.

Placements: It was a part-time course, so there was no placement for us. Of course, the college provided placement for full-time courses. So, I was not aware of the placement or job opportunities. I had seen the list of companies that would be having campus recruitment. I had heard that many people had got good opportunities with good companies after passing out.

Infrastructure: MET's canteen food was one of the best. They provided hygienic food of good quality and also at a basic cost. The tea was especially one of the best they provided.

Faculty: Every year, two semesters were conducted for our course. In all, we had to complete 6 semesters over three years. For every subject, we had project assignments, presentations, and a black book with golden embossing on a specific topic. I liked that MET had hired some of the best faculty in the college. After working for 5 days a week, the lectures on Saturday and Sunday were inspirational and motivational for us. The faculty, including the admin, accounts, and teaching staff, were very helpful. I missed them. The curriculum was designed to suit all executives in the IT industry. The purpose of the course was to help mould future executives in Management to become professionals and manage themselves in a workplace.

Really good infrastructure, faculty members, and college life.

Placements: So, according to previous data and my personal research, the placement at MET College is very good due to its good connections with recruiters. The average package is around 3-4 LPA. Some students also get 8-9 LPA. This year, a student got a 40 LPA package in Infotech Australia. He is a Computer Science and Design student. About internships, more than 95% of students get internships after the 3rd year. Internships are compulsory. The college helps us get internships.

Infrastructure: I can proudly say that the infrastructure is the best, top-tier. There is a big campus, comfortable classrooms, high-quality labs, and also a roaming area. I don't know about the hostel and hostel food, but the canteen is superb and very affordable. It is very well-maintained and clean. I can say it is very hygienic.

Faculty: Teachers are super friendly and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. There are only 60 students in the class, so teachers can teach better. It makes students industry-ready because they give us maximum knowledge through practical work. The exams are not that hard, but we need to study for a better CGPA.

Other: Events in the college are wonderful because every year a new celebrity comes. Fests are like concerts, with a very high budget, and are full of fun. What I like about my course is that they teach us graphic design along with Computer Science. I have an interest in making games, so it helps me a lot.

Placements: Percentage of students who get placed in our course is 25%. The highest package in our course is 23 LPA. The lowest package in our course is 3 LPA. The average package in the Data Science course is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies at our college are TCS, Infosys, Adobe, Amazon, etc. The percentage of students who get internships from our school is 15%, including internships at TCS. I don't know about the present year. Top roles offered in our course are Junior Data Scientist and Data Analyst.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-designed. The library is open to students for 12 hours. The college has labs for practical sessions, which also have Wi-Fi. Facilities are good. The food is good in the mess and canteen. There are no medical facilities. Sports and games are average and not that much involved.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good, but sometimes they are rude in their behavior. The course curriculum is relevant and useful for becoming industry-ready. Semester exams are not that tough, but they are not very easy either. Exams have 100 marks, and 40 marks are required to pass.

Other: I chose this course because Data Science will have high demand in the future with integrated AI. Things can be better if teachers focus on students and the course. Events are organized in the college. There are multiple different clubs that develop students' communication, connectivity, and team-building skills. Extracurricular activities include clubs.

Nice college in Nashik.

Placements: Placement is totally based on students' talent and skills. Companies like TCS, HAL, and Wipro are coming. Some companies come for internships and placement training, like Gryphon. Minimum package is 3 LPA-5 LPA. These things are going on in the college, students got placed also in Qspider company.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Hostel is average. The canteen ground is nice. All facilities are available in the college. Surroundings and views are also fine. Infrastructure is good. Canteen is also good for the price. There is also stationery available for buying supplies.

Faculty: Teachers are good, friendly, and helpful to every student in their academics. The course curriculum is good. The pass percentage is 80 percent. The course is also good and easy to pass no problem passing. I am in the 2019 pattern, for others are in the 2024 pattern. This is a difference.

Other: Events and Techfest are good. The campus is nice.
