The tuition fee for BTech and BTech (Lateral Entry) courses at Vel Tech ranges from INR 4.05 Lakhs - INR 14.4 Lakhs. This is the total tuition fees and the complete payment may increase based on the additional charges. For instance, for the BTech (CSE) branch, the tuition fee is INR 14.4 Lakhs. But along with the hostel fee of INR 4.30 lakhs, and a one-time charge of INR 5,000, the total fee payment becomes INR 18.75 Lakhs.

Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R and D Institute of Science and Technology or Vel Tech University conducts VITUEEE for admission to BTech programme. The test is conducted in 2 phases in computer-based mode. The test includes a total of 90 questions, 30 each for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Vel Tech offers admission to a four-year BTech course through both direct and entrance modes. The eligibility criteria for direct admission is to pass Class 12 with 60% aggregate in the respective subjects or equivalent from any recognised board and there is no entrance exam required for direct admission.
