A. The various courses offered under law ranges from doctorate to certification courses. The details of various types of courses are:

Law courses especially LLB, LLM and five-year integrated courses are not offered in distance mode as per the notifications issued by the Bar Council of India as well as the University Grants Commission. Various other courses such as PG Diploma Courses, Diploma and Certificate courses can be offered in distance or part-time mode, as offered by IGNOU and other online portals. Therefore, these certifications can be done by candidates in part-time mode but the full-time graduation and postgraduation courses can't be done in distance mode.

Q. What is the difference between LLB and BA LLB?

A. LLB also called as Bchelor of Law is a three-year undergraduate course in law which is done after completing Bachelor's in any discipline. This course cannot be pursued after Class 12th and candidates must have completed graduation level in order to pursue this course. BA LLB is also called as Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law. This course is an integrated course which is offered after completing Class 12th. Candidates who complete this course are awarded a joint degree related to both the fields. Hence BA LLB is more popular than LLB due to less academic years taken to complete the former.
