How to fill AILET application form 2022

The AILET application form window is closed. However, the candidates who have already registered  can edit their forms until 14-Nov-2025, 8 AM at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. There are only a few details allwed to be corrected during the AILET 2026 application correction window. The AILET 2026 is scheduled to be held on December 14, 2025 in offline mode at different test centres across India. Candidates seeking admission to BA LLB, BCom LLB, LLM courses offered at NLU Delhi will have to sit for the AILET 2026 entrance exam. The application process has includes registration, filling up the application form, uploading documents, and online fee payment. Once candidates complete the application process, they will be able to download the admit card.

AILET 2026 Application: Courses Offered

This year, NLU Delhi is offering admission to five courses through AILET 2026. These courses are listed below: 

AILET 2026 Application Process: Requirements

Candidates can consider the following things before filling up the application form of AILET:

  • A valid email ID to register for AILET
  • A valid mobile number to get SMS related to application and exam details.
  • Properly scanned copies of the photograph in jpg, GMF or BMP formats and, the file size should not be more than 150 KB
  • Class 10 certificate for filling name and date of birth as per the certificate
  • Credit/ Debit Card, Bank details for application fee payment

The documents required to fill in education details and personal details should be kept handy. Moreover, the email ID and phone number required for AILET registration should also be kept open for OTP and confirmation related updates.

Q:   When will AILET PG 2026 registration start?
A:

AILET PG 2026 registration for the entrance exam started on 07-Aug-2025 in online mode. Candidates who are aspiring to take admission to the LLM programme at the National Law University of Delhi must apply before the deadline. The registration will be done on the NLU Delhi website.

Q:   How many students registered for AILET 2025?
A:

NLU Delhi has not yet released the registered candidates numbers. However, in AILET 2025, around 19,830 candidates registered for the BA LLB entrance test and 2648 students registered to appear for LLM program. However, the number of candidates registered in the previous years were 18,044 for the BA LLB entrance test and 1,866 for the LLM test.

Q:   What are the documents required to apply for the AILET PG 2025 exam?
A:

While applying for the AILET PG exam 2026, candidates must keep the following documents ready before filling the application form:

  • Scanned photograph
  • Scanned signature
  • Qualifying exam certificates
  • Category certificate

How to fill the AILET 2026 Application Form?

Candidates can fill the application form of AILET 2026 on the official website as mentioned below:

  • On the homepage of NLU Delhi - nludelhi.ac.in, candidates need to click on ‘AILET Admissions 2026’ and a new page will open up.
  • On this page, click on ‘Online Application Form’ and the application window will open up where candidates need to create a user account as under,
  • Before proceeding to fill the form, click on ‘How to apply online’ to check the requirements/ instructions of filling up the application form.
  • After this, click on ‘Create New Account’ and, the registration form will open up as under,
  • Fill all the details carefully. The NLU Delhi will send an application ID and password on the registered mobile number
  • Use the application username and password to login,
  • Candidates will then have to change the password and then candidates will need to select their course of admission.
  • The form for the selected course will appear on the screen, where candidates will have to full and submit the application form of AILET 2026 as under,
  • Candidates need to fill in the following details in the first step of AILET 2026 application form:
    • Personal Details 
    • Centre Choice Details
    • Contact Details
    • Family Details
    • Academic Qualification 
  • Next, candidates need to upload their scanned photograph and signature.
  • Next, candidates will need to pay the AILET application fee 
  • The application fee to be paid as per the category and course will appear on the screen as a popup, candidates will then have to select their method of payment from the options below:
    • Wallet Payments 
    • Cards Payments 
    • Net Banking 
  • Once the application fee is paid, the status will be confirmed via the registered mobile number and email address. Candidates can then proceed to submit their application form.

Steps to Retrieve AILET 2026 Login Password

There are cases when you may forget the login password, follow the steps given below,

  • Go to, nationallawuniversity.in
  • Enter your username or registered email. 
  • Click on the tab mentioning reset password
  • The link to reset the password will be sent to your registered email. 
  • Click on the link, enter the new password and confirm it. 
  • After entering all the details, click on the save button to complete the process.

What after AILET 2026 Application Process? 

After the conclusion of the AILET application process 2026, NLU Delhi will release the AILET 2026 admit card at nationallawuniversitydelihi. The admit card will tentatively be released in November 2025. It is mandatory for candidates to carry their admit card to the exam centre on the exam day. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam without this document.

NLU Delhi BA LLB (Hons) cutoff 2026 is out for round 1 across different categories. For the students belongong to the General AI quota, the AILET cutoff score is 60. For the OBC category, the cutoff score is 330. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the category-wise cutoff details:

No, the presidency university do not accept AILET Score. Candidates have to appear either for PULAT or CLAT to get admission in the law courses offered by the varsity. Without it you can not get admission.

The last date to submit the AILET counselling fee was December 27, 2025. The candidates who get the invitation to participate in the AILET counselling have to pay the counselling registration fee before the last date.

National Law University (NLU) Delhi has released the answer keys for the AILET 2026 LLM exam on December 14, after the exam. The objections window is open till December 16, 12 PM. After receiving the objection, the final AILET 2026 answer key will be published.
