UGAT application form 2026 will be available in the last week of January 2026, tentatively. AIMA UGAT 2026 will likely be conducted in the second week of June 2026. Students appearing for the UGAT exam 2026 can apply to a maximum of five institutes while filing the AIMA UGAT 2026 application form. How to Apply Online for UGAT 2026?

Students are required to follow the steps mentioned below to fill UGAT 2026 application form online:

 
  • Visit the official website of AIMA
  • Click on the 'online registrations by candidates for 2026 UGAT' link in the quick links section
  • Click on the 'Fresh Candidate to create login' button and register with the required details including name, date of birth, email id, etc.

  • Click on the 'Submit' button to complete the registration
  • Candidates will receive an acknowledgement on their registered email ID
  • Click on the 'Proceed to login' button and log in again with the email id and your date of birth
  • Click on the "Fill Application' button and fill in the required details such as the choice of city, address, mobile number, academic details, etc. 
  • Upload a photograph and signature and make a fee payment to complete the registration
  • Take a printout of the UGAT 2026 application form

Documents to Upload With UGAT Application Form:

Candidates filling UGAT application form must ensure they have the following documents while filling the UGAT application form:

  • Scanned images of photograph (200 pixels x 300 pixels) and signature (200 pixels x 300 pixels) in JPG/JPEG format
  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Caste Certificate (for reserved category candidates)
  • Details of credit card, debit card, internet banking, UPI or a demand draft

Candidates applying for the UGAT exam must ensure they have the following documents while filling out the UGAT application form:

UGAT registration is an online process. The UGAT 2026 application form will likely be released in the last week of January 2026, on the official website of AIMA UGAT. Students who wish to appear for the AIMA UGAT exam will be required to fill out the UGAT application form online. The UGAT application procedure includes the following steps:

  • Creating a new user profile by filling out the UGAT registration form with details such as name, date of birth, gender, email ID and phone number, etc.
  • Filling out the complete UGAT application form using username and password.
  • Paying the UGAT application fee via credit/debit card, internet banking, UPI, demand drafts or other banking wallets.
  • Uploading the required documents in the prescribed format.
  • Downloading and printing the UGAT application form.

How to Obtain UGAT Application Form Offline?

  • Candidates can obtain the UGAT application form from institutes listed with AIMA or from AIMA’s head office located at Lodhi Road New Delhi against cash payment of INR 750/-
  • The application form can also be obtained via post by sending a DD of INR 750/- to AIMA. The DD should be drawn in favour of the “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi. 
  • Candidates also need to attach two self-addressed slips / adhesive stickers

Candidates must note that the UGAT 2026 application form must be submitted before the deadline. Also, it must be ensured that the information mentioned on the same is correct and complete. Forms having incomplete/incorrect information will be rejected.

Q:   Is the UGAT application form different for different categories?
A: 

No, the UGAT application form is the same for all categories. Students need to choose their respective categories while filling the registration form. Candidates must note that when they are applying for UGAT exam, the first step in the UGAT application process is registration. Students can then proceed on to filling the UGAT application form and paying thr application fee. Candidates must carefully fill the UGAT application form and uploaded the required documents. Candidates need to then make the fee payment online. Candidates must also note that once the fee payment has been made no changes can be made in the registration form and the fee will also not be refunded.

Q:   How many test cities can I choose while filling the UGAT application form?
A: 

AIMA will conduct UGAT 2026 in the paper-based test mode. Applicants who wish to take the UGAT exam need to select their preferred examination city while filling out the UGAT 2026 application form. Q:   Can I pay the UGAT registration fee by cash/DD or net banking?
A: 

Yes, the UGAT application fee can be paid online as well as offline. Paying the application fee is important to complete the UGAT application process. Candidates who opt to pay the application fee online can do so through a credit card, debit card, banking wallets or internet banking. 

Candidates who opt for paying the UGAT application fee offline, have to fill the UGAT application form offline too. They can pay the fee through cash or a demand draft. Students paying the fee through a DD have to address the DD to 'All India Management Association' payable at New Delhi. 

The AIMA UGAT application fee is INR 750. There is no fee concession for reserved category and the application fee is the same.

Q:   Who is eligible for UGAT exam?
A: 

All India Management Association has prescribed the UGAT eligibility criteria for admission to undergraduate programmes such as Integrated MBA,  BBA,  BCA and BHM and other courses. The UGAT eligibility criteria are the requirements that the applicants must fulfil before filling out the UGAT 2026 application form. The basic AIMA UGAT eligibility criteria state that the candidate must have completed Class 12. 

Applicants must fulfil the below-mentioned UGAT eligibility criteria in order to appear for the exam:

  • The applicant must have completed Class 12 from a recognised board.
  • The applicant must have secured at least 50% aggregate in Class 12.
  • The applicants awaiting their Class 12 results are also eligible to apply for the UGAT exam.
  • There is no age bar to appear for the UGAT exam. 
  • The applicants from any stream, i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science can apply for the exam.
  • The applicant must be a citizen of India if he/she wishes to appear for the UGAT 2024 exam. 
Q:   I am unable to upload my signatures in the UGAT registration form. What should I do?
A: 

There is a set limit to upload a photograph and digital signatures in the UGAT registration form. The size of the file should be between the prescribed size. Also, the dimensions of the image uploaded should match the ones mentioned in the instructions. If the documents are not in accordance with the prescribed format then the application form can be rejected. Candidates must note that there is a very small form correction window in the UGAT application process, hence they must carefully fill the application form and upload clear scanned copies of the documents.

Q:   I am in Class 12 and want to appear for UGAT exam, can I fill the registration form of UGAT without the results of 12th class?
A: 

Yes, students who are in Class 12 or are awaiting for their Class 12 results can certainly apply for the UGAT exam. The basic eligibility crtieria for appearing for the UGAT exam is as follows:

  • Candidate must have secured at least 50% aggregate at Class 12 level
  • There is no age bar. Candidates of any age can appear for the exam.
  • Applicants in Class 12 or awaiting the results are also eligible to apply provisionally. This means that they would be requireed to present their Class 12 marksheet, school leaving certificate, transfer certificate, etc. at the time of admission. If the candidate fails to submit the required documents, then, their candidature will be cancelled.
Q:   How to login to the AIMA UGAT website to apply for UGAT exam?
A: 

The UGAT application/registration forms will be available online only on the official website of AIMA. The students who wish to appear for the UGAT exam, have to fill out the UGAT application form online along with paying the online application fee. In other words, UGAT application process is completely online and there is no provision of offline application. Candidates who wish to appear for the UGAT exam must follow the steps mentioned below to know how to register for the UGAT exam and log in to the AIMA website:

  • Visit the official website of AIMA

  • Click on the registration link for UGAT exam

  • The candidate needs to generate a User ID and password using details such as name of the candidate, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. 

  • This User ID and password will also be sent to the candidate through registered email and SMS

  • Next, the candidate needs to re-login using the credentials

  • The next step is to enter the required details in the UGAT application form. Candidates must ensure that they enter the correct details as the same cannot be changed later

  • Pay the registration fee through a Credit/Debit Card or internet Banking

  • Candidates belonging to reserved categories need to submit valid and attested certificates supporting their reservation category 

Q:   Can I make corrections in the UGAT application form after submission?
A: 

Yes, students who have completely filled the UGAT application form and paid the application fee before the due date can make corrections in the UGAT application form. However, there is a limit to the number of corrections that can be made.
