The crowd and extracurricular activities are really good.
Placements: For Civil, the number of students getting placed is comparatively low. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 3–4 LPA. There are two top companies, one of which is Shoba Construction. These top companies take only 5–6 students at most, so approximately less than 20 students out of a total of 140 get placed in core companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and hostel are really good. We have good lab facilities, a huge library, and a good Wi-Fi connection in the hostel. The hostel infrastructure is really good. We have a water purifier and are also allowed to take hot water from the mess. The food from our mess is good (especially for non-vegetarians). When it comes to sports, our hostel itself has three playgrounds for football, basketball, and volleyball. These facilities are even better and well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, helpful, and experienced. The current curriculum is relevant, but I think it's better to improve your soft skills, and we do get enough time for that. To be honest, semester exams are manageable if you study seriously.
Other: I chose it because I like to draw buildings and related things. The best thing about this course is the amount of free time you get, and if used correctly, it will be a great boon for you. The only thing I wish could be better is the placements. For events, fests, crowds, scholarships, and extracurricular activities, don’t worry about anything. It’s one of the best colleges in my opinion.

Absolutely satisfied because of the placement provided to students and the really good facilities.
Placements: Our college provides placements to a large number of students across all engineering departments. Almost one-fourth of the students get placed through the college. The highest package this year was 36 lakh per annum. The top recruiting company for my course is Sobha Construction.
Infrastructure: The college is large compared to other colleges in Kerala. It is one of the richest in lab equipment and facilities. The college also has a large library, open to everyone, and provides hostel accommodations for both men and women at a nominal rate.
Faculty: The teachers are not very helpful, and the curriculum is not that relevant. It contains many unnecessary topics and doesn’t cover important subjects. It doesn't prepare students well. The semester exams are also very tough, and it's hard to complete them within the limited time provided.
Other: The best part of my course is the placement opportunities compared to other colleges. There are also a wide variety of clubs offering students exposure. The college hosts large events like Odisha, Drishti, and Dhwani.

I am satisfied with college. It has a good atmosphere. There are good people around me.
Placements: 20 to 30% of students get placed in 2024. The highest package is around 13 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Shoba Construction and L&T. Almost every student in Civil gets internships at ULCSS. The top roles offered are chief civil engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a separate library for the civil course. Advanced labs are there for civil. There is a good atmosphere to study. Wi-Fi connectivity is poor. The quality of food available in the mess is awesome. I will suggest every student to enter the college hostel. College gives importance to sports very much.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but many teachers don't know how to deliver the content to students. They struggle to deliver the content that they intend to deliver. The new syllabus is very good. 2 semesters are for internship so it will make them ready for industry. The difficulty level of the semester examinations is not very high. If we study well, we can easily pass exams.
Other: I chose this college because it is the number one college in Kerala. Events organised in the college are one of the best.

My College: It is Absolutely Satisfying
Placements: Students present in the college are 90% in the KEAM exam. With a high rank in the KEAM exam, the highest package is 36 lakhs per year, and the lowest package is 7 lakhs per year. Internships are available for students with a CGPA of 6 and above. Top roles include software engineering and data scientist positions.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure facilities and lab facilities. The labs are well-equipped, and the hostel has good facilities. Each room accommodates four to five students, and each student has their own bed and almirah. Cleaning is provided by the staff.
Faculty: In our college, the teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching ability is excellent and they are very friendly. Each semester includes exams and series tests. The pass percentage in semester exams is 24%.

Strong placements and great campus life at CET Trivandrum.
Placements: In my college, I was part of B.Tech civil engineering. Around 60-70% of students got placed in our course. The highest package is around 10 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.5 LPA. Top companies that are recruiting from civil are L&T, Afcons, TCS, and Shapoorji Pallonji.
Infrastructure: The civil department had good classrooms, drawing halls, and labs for structural, geotechnical, and environment studies. Wi-Fi is available in academic blocks. Hostels have decent rooms, regularly cleaned, and full-time water and electricity supply available.
Faculty: Most teachers in civil department are qualified and helpful. They explain concepts clearly and guide us in projects and labs. The syllabus is relevant, covering both theory and practical topics useful in industry. Pass percentage is usually around 85-90%.
Other: I heard that through this course, we got government jobs compared to other branches.
