Q: What is full form of GAT?

The full form for GITAM GAT is GITAM Admission Test. It is an management entrance test conducted by Gandhian Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission to MBA/PGDM programe of GITAM School of Business. Candidates seeking admision to Post graduate programe of GITAM must appear for the exam. Candidates having valid score in national level management entrance exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. will be exemted from taking the GITAM GAT exam. Candidates will be required to fill the application form to be eligible for appearing in group discussion and personal interview rounds. GITAM GAT is conducted in multiple sessions in a year. Candidates can chose the date of examination as per their convenience.

Q: What is the last date for GITAM GAT application form?

The last date to apply for first phase of GAT exam 2026 will be notified soon. Aspirants will be able to submit the online GAT 2026 application form online till prescribed date at gitam.edu. No, candidates will not be able to change the GAT exam centre once the application form is submitted. GITAM Deemed to be University does not provide any provision for GAT application form correction window. Candidates filling the application form must carefully enter the details. The GAT 2026 registration will commence online and the last date of registration for MBA and BBA will be announced in December 2025. Candidates must carefully enter the personal details, academic details, exam centre preference and payment details. GAT application form once submitted, no requests for change in the details of the application form will be entertained. Candidates must check the list of the GAT exam centres before filling the application form.

Q: Do I have to submit a separate GAT application form, if I wish to apply for more than programme?

No, candidates will not be required to fill separate GAT application form to apply for different courses. With a single GAT application form candidates can apply for UG or PG courses they wish to apply for. Candidats can apply for Architecture, Engineering, Humanities, Law, Management, Nursing, Paramedical, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and Sciences courses offered at GITAM Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru campuses. GAT 2025 registration will commence online soon. GITAM will announce the important dates for GAT 2025. Candidates willing to take admisison to GITAM to its UG or PG programme must fill the application form on or before the last date.

Q: I have forgotten password for GAT login. How can I retrieve the credentials?

If a candidate has forgotten the GAT login details, he/she can retrieve the details by following the steps below: Step 1- Visit the GAT login page and click on the "Forgot Password" tab. Step 2- Enter registered email address to receive the link for changing password. Step 3- A link will be sent to the registered email address. Step 4- Click on the link, reset the password and click on the 'Submit' button. Step 5- Once password is rest, candidates can log in to their GAT account.

The examination should be recognisedby the relevant educational board or authority in the country. The candidate must have successfully passed this examination (GAT) or UGAT to be eligible to apply. For MBA Candidate must have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidate must have completed the UG course in minimum three years duration. Students in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the programme

Candidates can pay the GAT application form fee online by following the steps to fill the GAT application form. What is GAT?

Gitam Institute of Management (GIM), Visakhapatnam, conducts GIM Admission Test or GAT for admission to its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programmes in various specializations, including niche ones like Management Accounting and FinTech. GAT 2026 registration process will be held in online mode. Candidates will be able to register for GAT 2026 until the last date, which will be notified soon. GAT 2026 exam will be conducted in online mode. The entrance exam is conducted multiple times a year.
