The best B.Tech college in India.
Placements: Placements are pretty decent. Almost 65% of students got placed each season despite the market recession. The average salary ranges between 18 LPA and 20 LPA. A similar placement percentage is observed in my branch and the top recruiting job roles include software development, data analyst, consultant, and product manager.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are well-suited to the needs, especially Wi-Fi, classrooms, labs, and library. The quality of the mess and hostel rooms depends on the hall allotted, but they are manageable. The medical facilities are good, with a hospital on campus. Many amazing facilities are available here.
Faculty: The exam occurs in two phases. The first is the mid-semester exam, which covers 30% of the syllabus, and the second is the end-semester exam, which covers about 70% of the syllabus. Faculty members here are very helpful and excellent, with more than 15 years of experience.
Other: I love to choose computer Science at IIT Kharagpur because of more opportunities to learn and because you need industry-level skills, the subject covers data structures, algorithms, and theoretical computer science. It strongly focuses on practical skills through labs and projects, Also giving knowledge about AI and ML.
