Review of IIT Kharagpur - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: The percentage of students who get placed in my course is high which is more than 75%. The highest and lowest package offered to this course is so superb that is more than 60% of students. Top recruiting companies are interested in this course. Percentage of students who get internships in this course is 80%.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in this course are superb. Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library are available in this college. The food quality served in the canteen is so tasty and healthy. Medical facility is available. Sports and games are also present.

Faculty: Teachers in my college are so helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is so super. This course curriculum is relevant and students are industry-ready. Semester exams in my college are so easy therefore, pass percentage is more than 85%.

Other: I chose this course to get a B.Teach degree from college in IIT. Events and campus crowds are so super. Scholarships are also available in my college.

It is worth spending 2-3 years to get admission into one of the top universities in India.

Placements: More than 90% of students are placed from this branch every year. The highest package offered is 60 LPA, and the lowest package is 10 LPA. Accenture Japan, ICICI, EXL, Rather, Robert Bosch, Axis Bank, Mercedes Benz, Bidgley Technologies, Amazon, ZS Associates, HP, Samsung, etc., companies offer placements. 80% of the students got their internships through CDC. The top roles are data scientist, software developer, mechanical engineer (R&D), electrical engineer, supply chain, operations, product manager, and consultant.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi of 100 Mbps is available with no usage limit, and it is available throughout the campus. The hostel food and other facilities are average, but the senior-junior culture is nice. Canteens, coffee shops, stationery, market, groceries and all daily need shops are available inside the campus. Subway, CCD, Baskin Robins, etc., are all available at a discounted price.

Faculty: The college has highly knowledgeable teachers, but their teaching is very un-interactive. 80% of the course is relevant to what we do, which could be done better. With good exposure to foreign universities, many people bag a foreign internship at one of the best research labs in the world every year.

Other: I chose this course because it provides the flexibility of choosing to study mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or go for a non-core profile like data science, software, management, consulting etc. A course updation is highly required, as we just read and pass the exams, and there is a lack of understanding of the basics because we do not do many practicals here. You will definitely love all the fests and events conducted every year. Spring fest is the most attractive fest with a footfall of nearly one lac people, a 3-day event where we celebrate with the pro-nites with the Bollywood stars. Everything is just amazing about it. Kshitij is the techno-management fest that gives a flavor of techno events like robo wars, drones etc. Many guest lectures are held by some renowned scientists, Bollywood movie directors, comedians etc.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placed. The salary package offered range from 13 LPA to 22 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Bidgely, Bosch, Mercedes-Benz, Udaan, etc. Top roles offered to the students are a data analyst, software engineer, an electrical and mechanical engineer. In our course, the highest salary package offered range from 13 LPA to 22 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 18 LPA. Almost 100% placements and internships offered in our course.

Infrastructure: The college provides world-class labs, and Wi-Fi is available all around the campus for free of cost. We have BC Roy Technology Hospital and a medical research park. All types of facilities for all outdoor games are available here like a gymkhana along with the stadium, and playgrounds are available for all types of sports.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are well-educated and hold a PhD from world-renowned universities such as MIT, Stanford, etc. The course curriculum is relevant for industrial applications. We study quality and reliability engineering, which is a matter of concern for every industry.

Placements: 1. 100% are placed every year 2. The lowest salary= 12LPA and the highest salary = 21 LPA was offered. 3. Apple, Flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft, Accenture Japan, AWL Japan, Mercari Japan, Sony Japan, Bidgley Tech, Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedez Benz, ZS Associates, Publicizes Sapient, Honeywell, Fractal Analytics and many more. (total 250 companies) recruited the students. 4. Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Analyst, ML Engineer, consultancy, finance, Quant, Investment Banking roles were offered. 6. All of us get an internship and it may vary from personal interest, otherwise, all big Giants open for us.

Infrastructure: IIT Kharagpur has a world-class and one of Asia's the largest libraries. There is nothing like Wi-Fi Labs because WI-Fi is available throughout the campus 24x7 service. In fact, only IIT KGP provides this facility. We have world-class labs across all over the departments directly funded from the MHRD. Classrooms (Nalanda Complex) here are outstanding, well furnished with Benches, Air-conditioners, Projectors and other basic facilities such as charging ports under the desk, etc. We have one of the largest computer labs known as takshshila which contains servers, N- number of computers open for the labs. We recently have got a Do it yourself lab where we can perform experiments on our own. From the academic point of you, IIT KGP rules throughout the world but this is not the case in Facilities provided to our hall (you may call them hostels but we call it hall) Although all basic facilities are provided here, but hygienic conditions are not maintained at any level of our halls, mess food is not up to the mark, we have a hospital inside the campus and a medical research park nearby the campus. We have 1 Olympic sized swimming pool, TT court, tennis court, badminton court, athletics ground, stadium, volleyball court, gymkhana and much more everything you might expect here. We have plenty of availability of food here due to 24x7 canteens, food-outlets, markets, shops etc. All integrated into one campus.

Faculty: Teachers here are highly educated and much research-oriented, but you might feel a little bit disappointed with their way of delivering knowledge. Not all of them, but many are not so efficient to deliver knowledge, but they all are highly educated and doing well in research. Many subjects we study are industry relevant and many of them are for the research purpose.
