NIT Meghalaya Admission 2025: Cutoff, Fees, Eligibility & Application

NIT Meghalaya offers BTech, MTech, MSc and PhD courses. NIT Meghalaya BTech is provides solid Engineering training in various specialisations. NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2025 has been released for the round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to BTech and BArch courses, on the basis of JEE Main scores. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quotas. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 22131 and 48977. To get a seat at NIT Meghalaya for BTech specialisations, candidate must attain the rank as per the category they belong to. NIT Meghalaya JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for the first round. As per the cutoff for the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 varied between 19623 and 44560. Looking at the cutoff ranks, it can be said that getting admission to NIT Meghalaya at 40000 rank is easy. Though the choice of specialisation would be limited at this rank. For admission to MSc programme at NIT Meghalaya candidate must complete the institution's entrance standards, which include achieving a valid score in the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Admission Test for MSc followed by CCMN Counselling.  Also candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria i.e. Bachelor's degree with 60% aggregate.  NIT Meghalaya conducts its own admission process for the left over seats from the CCMN counselling process.

As per the round 3 of JEE Main cutoff 2025, it is possible to get admission to NIT Raipur with a rank of 45000 in JEE Main. The cutoff for the General AI category candidates was closed at 22131 and 48977. Looking at the cutoff range, it was evident that getting admission at 45000 rank is possible, among the General AI category candidates. 

NIT Meghalaya Admission 2024 to M.Tech programme is entirely based on GATE exam. Candidates have to qualify the GATE cutoff which is based on certain factors like total number of available seats, the number of candidates appeared in the exam, marks obtained by the candidates. The application process varies from course to course.The application process of BTech, MTech, and MSc is done via the official website of JoSAA, GATE, and JAM respectively. Candiates with a valid entrance exam score msut apply through the counselling bodies of JoSAA (BTech), CCMT (MTech), and CCMN (MSc). As for the PhD programme, candidates must apply via the NIT Meghalay's official website by filling the online appplication form.

NIT Meghalaya conducts its own application process for PhD and M.Tech (Sponosred) prorammes, where candidates must pay an non-refundable application fee.

NIT Meghalaya JEE Main Round 6 cutoff for Computer Science Engineering is 19175 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota.
