Strong placements and vibrant campus life.
Placements: The placement record in my batch is strong. The top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, and Deloitte, offering roles such as software developer, business analyst, and system engineer. The highest package offered is around 41 LPA 2025, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: All the sports are entertained in our college, hostel food is hygienic, and the canteen has a variety of menus. The library is very wide and a peaceful place to study, almost till 11 pm we can stay at the library. Laboratories are very upgraded, and we have new electronic gadgets installed in our college.
Faculty: Teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are very good at clearing our doubts. We have good industrial visits to the Infosys industry, survey camps are done, and exams are conducted strictly. The Medal of Merit is given to the top 3 students and is presented in front of the RN Shetty Memorial.
Other: Events are done in a good way, and the crowd is also increasing year by year.

A glimpse into the life of a student at RNSIT.
Placements: Great placements are happening in this college, and the placement club is also very good in terms of placements. The companies are also coming to recruit students. Placements are offering good packages. The companies are good and reputable. So far, the companies coming are good.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are provided to the students, and the rooms are triple-sharing. They are well-fit and well-maintained. Due to this, colleges charge a sum of around 1 lakh, and this is relatively very high compared to other colleges. But then again, everything that is being done by the college is good.
Faculty: Faculty members of our department are very good with their subjects, and these people actually do teach us very well. They are very knowledgeable teachers, and due to this the quality of the education that is being provided is very good. Hence, the overall money worthiness of the college is great.

This college is better than colleges in Delhi NCR sector because it is in Bengaluru.
Placements: About 80% of students get placement offers easily here. The highest package is 50 LPA by Amazon. The lowest is 3.6 LPA. Average is about 6.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Amazon, Visa, and Texas Instruments. If we study well DSA and web development, you can easily get placed here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is there for every department. Classrooms are smart board equipped and fans are there. Lab is also fully equipped with PCs.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and always available for any academic queries. Don't think that the course curriculum is relevant. It should be updated, according to me. Semester exams are not that much difficult if you focus in class, it's easy to pass. So just focus on studies, you will get GPA easily. Faculty members here are really good and well-educated in their field. They have a lot of knowledge in their field. Staffs are cooperative here.
Other: I chose this course because it is one of the demanding courses in India. If they taught things relevant to placements, that's really helpful.

Student experience and course insights - CSE at RNSIT.
Placements: As I am currently in my first year and haven't graduated yet. I don't have firsthand experience with placements. However, based on information shared by seniors and faculty members, around 85-90% of eligible students in the CSE department get placed each year. The highest package has gone up to 48 LPA and the average package range between 6-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Adobe, VISA, Infosys, Samsung, Wipro, and also several promising startups. The most common roles offered are software developed, data analyst, full-sack developed, cloud engineer, and also roles in AIML and cybersecurity.
Infrastructure: RNSIT offers a well-maintained infrastructure with spacious classrooms, a fully stocked library, and high-speed internet across the campus. The canteen serves a decent variety of food at reasonable prices. Hostel facilities are clean and secure, with separate blocks for boys and girls. Recreational space and seminar halls are also well-equipped to support student activities.
Faculty: Teachers at RNSIT are highly qualified, supportive, and always ready to help students beyond classroom hours, especially during projects and hackathons. The CSE curriculum is regularly updated and includes industry-relevant subjects, helping students become job-ready. Semester exams are moderately challenging, but with proper preparation, most students perform well.
Other: I chose CSE at RNSIT because of my strong interest in technology, programming, and the wide career opportunities in the field. The best things about this course are hands-on practical learning, supportive faculty members, good placement training, and exposure to real-world projects and hackathons. There are a lot of events, and fests regularly going on in our college and also the college is well connected by public transport. The surroundings are really peaceful and also provide ample opportunities for extracurricular activities and student clubs.

It has an excellent infrastructure and placement support with a vibrant campus life.
Placements: I am from the B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering course from the 2023-2027 batch. Above 80-85% of students from our batch get placed by the end of the final year. The highest package offered is 56 LPA, and the average package is quite impressive. The top recruiting companies for our course are TCS, Infosys, Deloitte, and Wipro. Roles offered are mainly software developers, system engineers, etc.
Infrastructure: Our department has modern classrooms and well-maintained labs with updated systems. It has a wide campus with high-speed Wi-Fi. The library is extensive, with both physical and digital resources available 24x7. Hostel life is comfortable with spacious rooms, security, and a 24x7 water facility.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, and mostly, they are PhD holders. They are very helpful during projects or research work. The course curriculum is updated regularly and aligned with industry trends such as AIML and AIDS. Semester exams are moderate in difficult, with a fair chance to clear.
Other: Facilities, placement support, and leaving resources justify fee charges.

Based on the combined performance in PUC/XII Std. and CET, a merit list will be created.

According to the approved intake, a seat matrix displaying the available seats in various institutions and branches is announced.
