Other: NIT Trichy’s name speaks for itself. College hosts three fests and there’s a choice of clubs & activities for all round development. Attendance is strict. Academically, if you manage your time well, you can do well. Teachers are good but not great. Students are extremely friendly. There are many places to relax. Films are screened occasionally in the auditorium. Being a centrally funded institute, college fees is lower than all comparable institutes. Almost all big companies come for campus placements.

Other: It is the worst college. Faculty members are under-qualified. They don’t even have basic knowledge. Students beware of this notorious institute located at Tiruniravur near Avadi, run by a notorious money pulling gangster. The college has poor infrastructure, no accessibility to roads, faculty has no knowledge, and a poor administration. There is no safety for north Indian students. But the authorities when questioned about the safety standards threatened us with dire consequences. So for god’s sake, don’t join this college.

Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.
