Documents Required for CEED Registration 2027

If you want to appear for CEED Entrance Exam conducted by IIT Bombay, then you must fill the CEED registration form when it opens. To fill the registration form for CEED 2027, you will require certain documents and details. In this article, we will see the list of documents that are required to fill the CEED 2027 Registration Form.

Documents required for CEED registration

CEED Registration Forms have to be filled online and to fill the CEED 2027 registration form, you must have a few documents like mark sheets, Aadhaar card, Photographs, signature, etc. There will be no Application edit window by IIT Bombay for CEED, so candidates must make sure that they fill in all the information and upload all the required documents correctly.  Candidates must read the eligibility criteria for CEED exam before filling the form. CEED 2027 Registration is done at ceed.iitb.ac.in/.

New users should click on 'Register' to create their account with the IITB external user registration portal. New users require a valid email ID, which shall be verified by sending an email verification message.

Documents required to fill the CEED Registration Form

The list of documents required to fill the CEED Application Form 2027 is given below.

1. Scanned copy of Photograph: A File containing your recent (within the last 6 months) colour photograph (.jpg file) as per the dimensions mentioned on the registration portal.
2. Scanned copy of Signature: A clear image of your signature (.jpg file).
3. Scanned copy of your degree/diploma certificate (.pdf file), if the course is completed. If you do not have the final degree certificate, please upload a copy of the final year mark list or the provisional certificate. If the course is not completed, upload a certificate from the Principal of your college/Head of the department in the format given in Appendix 1 (.pdf file).
4. EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL category Certificate: Candidates applying under the EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL category must produce valid category certificates (.pdf file) issued by appropriate authorities. EWS/OBC-NCL certificates issued on or after April 1, 2025, are accepted for the examination. If selected for admission, the candidates must produce a category certificate valid during the following year, i.e., issued on or after April 1, 2026. 
5. UDID (Unique Disability ID) card/certificate: Candidates applying under the physical disability (PwD) category should produce a valid UDID (Unique Disability ID) card/certificate (https://www.swavlambancard.gov.in). If this has yet to be availed, a valid medical certificate (.pdf file) issued by the appropriate authority should be produced. The certificate must clearly state that the disability is at least 40% to avail the reservation. Dyslexic candidates are required to additionally obtain a certificate from the Principal/Head of their College/Institution as per Appendix. For Dyslexic candidates, the certificate must clearly state that the nature of disability is SEVERE and PERMANENT.
6. PwD candidates requiring the services of a scribe during the exam must upload a certificate, if applicable.
7. Candidates whose name is not the same as the name on the degree/diploma certificate should produce a gazette notification, or a bona fide marriage certificate or scanned pages of the passport reflecting the change of name.

In which format should documents be uploaded for CEED registration 2027?

•  The documents listed above should be uploaded as electronic files for CEED 2027 online registration.
• Candidates should not send paper copies of these documents or any other documents to the UCEED-CEED office for registration.
• Admit Card and the Score Card of CEED will have the photograph and signature submitted by the candidate during the CEED Registration. Candidates should not submit poor-quality photographs and/or signatures because it may lead to the rejection of CEED registration.
• It is the responsibility of the candidate to provide correct information while filling the CEED Registration Form. If the registration forms are incomplete in any respect, they will be rejected and the registration will be considered invalid.
