Q. How did you prepare for NID Studio Test and Interview round?
Ans. I looked up Quora and other blogs to understand the nature of NID Studio Test and its requirements. I also went through material handling exercises that were asked in previous years’ NID entrance exam question papers. Apart from this, I also went through questions asked in NIFT Situation Test and this provided me with a good warm up before the final run.
My NID interview round went very well. The Interview round was a great experience which provided me with an opportunity to share my ideas and thoughts aloud before a panel of experts.
Q. How was your NID Studio Test round?
Ans. The NID Studio Test was an experience in itself. The entire process was extremely well planned and meticulous. The entire process started with ID verification and after that we assembled in our NID test venue. Next, we were asked to sit down at our respective seats which were allotted to us based on roll call.
The questions I was asked in my NID Studio Test 2017 are mentioned below:
- Create a brand identity for an Indian Snacks shop (including logo, packaging, brand philosophy etc.)
- Create the packaging with details such as brand origin, logo, and other related details. Make the model using paper.
- Elaborate the key factor of the brand philosophy and the marketing strategy to help it expand.
Q. What did you do after appearing for the studio test round?
Ans. After I gave my NID Studio Test, I had my interview the same evening.
Q. Any advice for NID aspirants
Ans. Embrace the world of design. Look at it as a road to build one’s future and not just a path to achieve admission.
