NIFT Exam Analysis 2019 for PG Admissions 2019: NIFT Entrance Exam 2019 was held across 32 test cities on January 20, 2019. Students must be very comfortable with any changes that appear in the pattern of creative exams and this was the case for students who wrote the NIFT PG 2019 paper this year. NIFT Entrance Exam 2019 was the first time wherein two essay questions were asked in the CAT section out of the total of three questions in this part of the exam.

A similar pattern change and trend was seen in NID Entrance Exam for UG admissions this year, which means that students need to prepare across all sections and must have a calm composure and thereafter quickly adapt to any new pattern thrown at them in design entrance exams.
The questions asked in the Creative Ability Test (CAT) for NIFT Entrance Exam 2019 PG exam are listed below:
S. No. |

Coming to the GAT Section of NIFT Entrance Exam 2019, questions were asked from GK and Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Ability etc.
A total of 10 questions were asked from General Knowledge. For the General Knowledge and Current Affairs section questions were asked like:
- Who is the brand ambassador for Grado?
- Who is the nightingale of India (Sarojini Naidu)?
- The Rani ki Vav appears on the bank of which currency note?

The Reading Comprehension had questions on:
- Statements and arguments
- Statement and conclusion
- Assertion and reasoning
Analytical Ability had questions from topics like:
- Coding decoding
- Seating arrangements
- Series and sequences
- Blood relations
Overall, NIFT GAT was pretty standard and nothing new was asked, the NIFT CAT had an interesting twist to it but creative writing and essays was an easy adaptation and students would not have found the change difficult to cope with.
Unlike the CEED and NID PG exams where the students literally have no time to breath, the NIFT CAT had plenty of time and students were comfortably able to finish their paper with ample time to present their work well and add in all the details they wanted.
