ACET BDes 2023: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

The ACET is an annual entrance test conducted by Ajeenkya DY Patil University. It is held to shortlist candidates for various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs like B.Tech, B.Des, BBA, MBA, etc. The questions are based on subjects such as English, Reasoning, Physics, Chemistry, and Math. Eligible candidates can fill out the online application form till the last date to take admission into the academic year 2025-26. To apply, students must visit the official portal - adypu.edu.in. The test is conducted in online home-proctored mode, and candidates can appear for the test from the comfort of their home. To take the exam, they can use their personal laptop or desktop. Stage One: Candidate registers online and appears for the ACET exam online. After appearing for the ACET 2026 exam, candidates will be short-listed based on their performance in the exam. After the ACET result announcement, one academic counsellor from the university will call the shortlisted candidate within 3 working days to schedule the personal interview.
Stage Two: Candidates will be invited to the ADYPU campus for a counselling session and a personal interview. For MBA programmes, candidates have to appear for Group Discussion and for Design programmes, candidates will be required to appear in a studio test. The students have to bring along with them the Statement of Purpose (SOP), certificates of extracurricular activities if any.
It is essential for every shortlisted candidate to attend the Second Stage for admission to their desired course. The student selection will be based on the cumulative performance of students in both rounds.

The ACET syllabus is mentioned in the notification released on its official website. Students appearing in the ACET entrance exam must refer to the syllabus before starting their preparation. It will help them know about the topics, sub-topics, and subjects on which the question paper will be based. The syllabus is based on class 11 and 12 syllabi and comprises topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
