AP EAMCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility Criteria for AP EAPCET 2025 are given below.
Nationality/ State Requirement
Candidates must be Indian nationals or hold PIO/OCI status. Candidates must be residents of Andhra Pradesh/Telangana and fulfil the Local/Non-Local status criteria outlined in the Andhra Pradesh/Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order of 1974, as amended
Academic Qualifications
Candidates should have secured a minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the specified subjects taken collectively in the qualifying examination.
For Engineering, BPharmacy (MPC), PharmaD, BTech. (Dairy Technology), BTech(Agricultural Engineering), BTech[Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], and BSc [Agricultural Engineering] programsmes
(i) Candidates must have completed the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as subjects or relevant vocational courses in Engineering and Technology. This examination must be conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, including any bridge course(s) introduced by the Board for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards. Alternatively, candidates may have completed any other examination recognised as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. Candidates awaiting the results of the Final Year Intermediate Examination (10+2 Pattern) may also apply for APEAPCET 2025. However, their ranks obtained in APEAPCET 2025 will only be valid if they pass the Intermediate Examination.

(ii) Candidates should have passed the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana, or any other examination acknowledged as equivalent by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. Candidates awaiting the results of the Diploma examination in Engineering may also apply for APEAPCET 2025. However, their ranks obtained in APEAPCET 2025 will only be considered valid if they pass the Diploma examination in Engineering.
Age Limit
- For Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates must have attained the age of 16 years by the 31st of December of the admission year (2025). There is no maximum age limit.
- For BTech(Dairy Technology), BTech(Agricultural Engineering), BTech (FS & T), and BSc(Agricultural Engineering) programmes, candidates must have reached the age of 17 by the 31st of December of the admission year (2025). There exists an upper age limit of 22 years for all candidates and 25 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as of the 31st of December of the admission year (2025).
- Candidates applying for the PharmaD course must have reached the age of 17 by the 31st of December of the admission year (2025).
AP EAMCET 2025: Important Instruction
The Convener of AP EAMCET 2025 holds the authority to decline a candidate's application at any point if:
- The Online Application Form remains incomplete.
- The candidate does not meet the eligibility criteria.
- False or inaccurate information is provided.
- The Online Application Form is submitted after the specified deadline.
- No correspondence regarding such matters will be entertained.
What Next If You Fulfill the Eligibility Criteria?
Candidates who meet the specified eligibility requirements can apply for the AP EAMCET 2025 examination by completing the online application form on the official website: cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The candidates who submit the application form can download the admit card upon its release.
