HSTES stands for Haryana State Technical Education Society. It conducts three online off-campus counselling every year for admission to the courses of Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/ Bachelor of Technology (BTech)/ Bachelor of Architecture (BArch).
HSTES rank card for BTech KM & HGTS category candidates is available now. The link to check rank rank has been updated on this page also. For BE/BTech, aspirants in the first and second round of HSTES counselling will be shortlisted based on the inter-se-merit of JEE Main. The third counselling will be conducted for the leftover/vacant seats. For BArch, the aspirants will be shortlisted based on the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) score (percentile) or JEE Main Paper 2 score (percentile).

HSTES 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for HSTES 2020, aspirants should check the eligibility criteria. If they are satisfying the criteria only then they should fill the application form. Check HSTES eligibility criteria below.
HSTES BE/BTech Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants should have passed Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Biology, Bio-Technology, Technical Vocational subject
- If any candidate has studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Diploma then the Diploma is equivalent to Class 12(Non-Medical)
- For admission to BE/BTech in Biotechnology, applicant should have studied Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science in Class 12
- Applicants should have scored at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects taken together for BE/BTech and BE/BTech (Biotechnology) or Applicants should have completed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates)
HSTES BArch Eligibility Criteria
- Aspirants should have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and 50% aggregate marks in overall or
- Diploma (any stream) with Mathematics as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or
- International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination
HSTES 2020 Application Form
The application form releases online at www.hstes.org.in. The application procedure includes various stages such as registration, filling the application form, choice filling, fee payment, etc. Before submitting HSTES 2020 application form, applicants should can check and edit the details. After application form submission, the details in the application form can be modified at the time of physical verification at designated centre. Applicants should ensure that photograph, signature and registration details must be same as registered in qualifying exam/JEE Main. No applicant should submit more than one application form.
HSTES 2020 Counselling
There will be three rounds in HSTES counselling. The counselling registration window is open from October 09. First and second round counselling will be an online off-campus counselling. The third round counselling will be conducted for the remaining seats. To participate in the third round counselling, candidates have to register themselves within the prescribed time frame. However, applicants who have already participated in first and second counselling and paid the application fee is not required to pay the application fee again for third counselling.
