Overview

HSTES 2026 Application Form: The Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) has commenced HSTES counselling registration. The last date to apply for BE/Btech counselling is June 17. The HSTES 2026 counselling registration dates vary for all courses for which the counselling is held. To be considered for seat allotment via HSTES 2026 counselling, candidates have to complete the HSTES counselling registration before the last date at hstes.org.in.

To apply for HSTES 2026, candidates must select their course, create login credentials, and complete a 7-step online form. The process is finalised only after the application fee is paid. The application process includes providing personal details and documents to meet eligibility criteria for future counselling rounds. Check complete details below.

Steps to Fill HSTES BTech Application Form 2026

The HSTES counselling 2026 application form can be filled out online only on the official website. The steps to apply for HSTES 2026 are given below:

Step 1: HSTES Registration 2026: The fresh candidates in the BTech course can sign up on the official website. For new registration, “click here to Register/ Sign-Up” option and submit your details of course, JEE Main roll number as per JEE Main admit card etc. and create your passwords/ credentials for further login.

Step 2: Fill Details: After signing up for registration/counselling, you will be required to fill the registration page of 07 steps for registering yourself with the following fields:

  1. Gender
  2. Eligible for Haryana domicile, if yes, fill your Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP ID) number mandatorily
  3. Category
  4. Sub Category
  5. Physically handicapped
  6. Educational Qualification
  7. Percentage marks in aggregate of all
  8. Percentage marks in aggregate of physics, chemistry and math (in case of B.E./B.Tech.)
  9. Name of School/College from where eligible educational qualification attained
  10. Type of School /College
  11. Location of School /College
  12. Parental Annual Income (Exact income from all sources) as verified by PPP ID
  13. Contact Address
  14. City/Town
  15. Home District
  16. Pin Code
  17. Telephone number
  18. Mobile number
  19. Email address etc.
  20. Aadhaar Number (Enrolment number in case Aadhaar is not available)
  21. Bank Name
  22. Bank Account Number
  23. IFSC Code of Bank Account
  24. Bank Account Linked with Aadhaar or Not
  25. Passport Number
  26. Driving License Number
  27. Parivar Pahchan Patra Number

Step 3: Registration confirmation: After this, candidates will be redirected to the “Registration Confirmation” page, where all entered registration details are displayed for confirmation once again. If candidates find any detail incorrect, that can be corrected by using the option “edit registration details” otherwise “Click here to continue”, if all the registration details shown are correct. Once candidates proceed from the above step, their registration details can’t be changed or edited, so click on the “Registration Confirmation “page when all the particulars are correct. In exceptional cases, candidates may have to visit/contact HSTES only.

All candidates must register for HSTES counselling to secure their seats. Admission to BE/BTech courses is based on the ranks of JEE Main 2026. On the other hand, BArch admission is based on NATA or JEE Main Paper 2. Further, BPharm (LE) and BTech (LE) admission is based on qualifying marks. Note that, an online common entrance test (OCET) is held especially for BPharm admission.

Documents Required During HSTES Counselling Registration

The candidate shall upload his/her following certificates/ documents after registering for the counselling. The list of documents needed to be uploaded in the HSTES counselling portal 2026 are as follows:

Rest of Haryana Category (RoHC): Candidates are required to produce any of the following for consideration in Resident of other than Haryana State Category (RoHC) if the candidate does not have their PPP ID:

  1. Other State “Domicile Certificate” issued by Competent Authority of other State.
  2. 10+2 or the Latest Qualification Proof from a State Other than Haryana.
  3. Affidavit from the parents working as Govt. Employee in a State other than the Haryana State.

Haryana Residence Certificate (In case a candidate has not passed the qualifying exam from the School situated in Haryana):

  1. The candidates who verified their PPP ID No. are residents of Haryana.

Note

Candidates, who have passed their qualifying examination from a Board/ Recognized School situated in the State of Haryana will be deemed to be Haryana residents and will not be required to submit certificates of Bonafide residents of Haryana. However, Haryana Candidates should fill out their Parivar Pehchan Patra Number (PPP ID) Number mandatorily. Therefore, all the candidates claiming Haryana Reservation & seeking admission are advised to prepare & verify their PPP ID. Refer to website https://meraparivar.haryana.gov.in.

Certificate from the Employer in the case of Employee of Govt. of Haryana, members of All India Services born on Haryana Cadre, Employees of Statutory Bodies/ Corporations as per Annexure-II, if applicable

Reserve Category Certificate:

  1. Scheduled Caste (SC) Certificate, Deprived Schedule Caste (SCD) certificate, Backward Class Certificate (BCA or BCB), if applicable and creamy layer / annual parental income certificate as per No. 40/13/2024-1SW and should be matched/verified from their PPP ID and a certificate of BC Category issued by the competent authority.
  2. Certificate in respect of Divyang (PH) Candidates as per as per the PPP ID of the candidate.
  3. Certificate required to be furnished by the Children & Grandchildren of Freedom Fighters.
  4. Certificate from wards of Deceased/ Disabled/ Discharged Military/ Para Military Personnel/ Ex-Servicemen or Ex-Personnel of Para-Military Forces.
  5. Certificate from wards of ex-employees of Indian Defense Services/ Para Military Forces.

More Certificates:

  1. Annual Parental Income, in the case of TFW, BCA and BCB Categories as per the PPP ID of the candidate.
  2. Income and asset certificate in the case of EWS category.
  3. Relevant Kashmiri Migrants (KM) certificate in support of their claim from the competent authority or Relief Commissioner.
  4. Relevant certificate of HGST (Haryana Govt School Topper).

HSTES 2026 application correction facility will not be available for candidates. According to previous years’ trends, authorities have never opened an online facility to make corrections in details submitted in application form. However, if made available, link will be released online at official website. Candidates are advised to be careful while filling details in online application form.

In some cases, candidates can visit HSTES office or call toll free number 18001373735 to make changes in their application form. Since there is no guarantee of form correction, it is important to submit details in application form correctly. To do this, they should keep all important documents and information ready with them. Incomplete or incorrect applications will be rejected for admissions.

With your rank, getting Mechanical or Electrical at UIET KUK is very unlikely.

 Mechanical may be possible only if cutoff increases in the final rounds (not guaranteed).
