KCET 2021 mop up round option entry link has been activated. The mop up round option entry link will remain active until March 13 and candidates who have successfully registered themselves for KCET 2021 counselling and certificates are verified are eligible to participate in the option entry. Candidates can exercise the option entry in online mode. While exercising KCET option entry, candidates will go through various stages such as creating new user ID and password, verifying basic information, open option worksheet, etc. Post option entry, KCET 2021 seat allotment result will be released on March 13. Q:   Can I use a calculator during KCET 2025 exam?
A:

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow candidates to use calculators during the KCET 2025 exam. Applicants are also not allowed to carry any electronics devices like mobile phones, pagers and other items inside the exam centre. Applicants appearing in the exam can use their question paper for rough work. The authorities will allow candidates to do calculations and rough work in the question paper booklet. Any candidate carrying restricted items inside the KCET 2025 exam hall will be disqualified from the admission process.  

Q:   What is KCET exam date 2024?
A:

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET 2024 exam date at the official website. KCET 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 18 & 19. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses can check the KCET exam dates at kea.kar.nic.in. KEA conducts KCET 2024 exam in offline centre based mode. Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET admit card 2024 along with one valid photo ID proof. 

Q:   What are the items restricted inside the KCET exam centre?
A:

KEA has released the KCET 2025 admit card at the official website. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. Candidates are allowed to carry their pen/pencil, face mask, and water bottle inside the exam centre. However, KEA will not allow candidates to appear in the KCET 2025 carrying restricted items at the exam centre. The items restricted inside KCET exam hall are given below.

  1. Geometry or Pencil box
  2. Handbag
  3. Purse
  4. Eatables
  5. Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager
  6. Calculator
  7. DocuPen
  8. Any metallic item or electronic gadgets/devices.
Q:   What is the KCET exam date 2023?
A:

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET exam date at the official website. KEA conducted the KCET 2023 exam on May 20 & 21 in offline pen & paper mode. Candidates from Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga will have to appear in the Kannada language test. KEA will conduct the KCET Kannada language exam 2023 on May 22. Candidates appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET admit card 2023 along with one valid photo ID proof. KCET 2023 shift 1 exam will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM while shift 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM. Candidates are advised to appear in the exam as per the slot mentioned in the KCET hall ticket.

  • Click on the "Option Work sheet" link
  • A Pop up window will be loaded
  • Click the link “Click here to Print Report” to take the print out of “Option Work Sheet”
  • The hard copy of “Detailed Option Work Sheet” will encompass Group, Type, College, Option Number, Course Description, and College Description
  • The report will be useful to work out the option entry of courses in various colleges under various course streams based on the candidate’s rank

Candidates must remember their password to perform for the admission related activites. In case, if any candidate forgets the password then he or she can reset it by following the procedure elucidated below:

  • Go to Home Page
  • Click the link “Change Password"
  • Enter New Password
  • Re-enter New Password
  • Click on the "Change Password" button
