KCET Fee Structure 2025: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has released the KCET 2025 fee structure on the official website. Q:   What is the KCET marking scheme?
A:

Karnataka Examination Authority releases the KCET marking scheme 2025 in the official notification. Applicants appearing in the exam will be awarded one mark for every correct answers. There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in KCET 2025 exam. KEA will not deduct any marks for unattempted questions in KCET exam. As the exam is conducted in offline mode, applicants are advise to mark their answers carefully in OMR sheet. The questions with multiple options marked will be considered as wrong. Candidates are advise to cross check their answers before marking it in OMR sheet. Do not write anything on KCET OMR sheet other than marking answers. 

Q:   What is spot rank in KCET 2025?
A:

The spot rank in KCET 2025 is the process conducted by KEA for candidates who results were witheld due to incorrect registration number or 12th class marks in the KEA KCET mark entry portal. For such candidates, the KEA activates the mark entry link for a specific period of time to upload their correct details, based on which candidates will be provided KCET rank. 

To access the KCET spot rank details, candidates need to provde their CET number and date of birth. The KEA has opened the KCET mark entry link for candidates who did not receive their KCET rank after the result announcement. The link is active from May 26 to 29, based on which the ranking will be provided to the applicants. 

Q:   What are the stages in the KCET exam?
A:

The stages includes registering, generation of admit card, appearing for exam, results announcement, counselling, seat allotment and final admission.

No. The JEE Mains emphasizes on deep knowledge and quote challenging with negative marking whereas KCET is moderately difficult which emphasizes on direct factual questions with no negative markings.
