The Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu will release the TNEA 2026 counselling process dates for registration, assignment of random numbers, Certificate verifications, rank list publication, and finally, the counselling. The counselling rounds will include steps like Choice Filling, Allotment, Confirmation of Allotment, and Reporting to the College/TFC and payment of fees depending upon their confirmation.
BE/B.Tech admission in Tamil Nadu is done based on the online counselling process called TNEA. There is no state-level entrance exam for admission in Tamil Nadu. No, the TNEA cutoff for the BTech course has not been released yet. The students must keep themselves updated from official website. Once released, they can visit TNEA website, search the BTech course category. The tentative dates for release are usually in the months of June and July 2026.

The students can get regular updates for BTech course admissions at official website of TNEA. The exact dates will be released around May, 2026. The students who have completed their class 12th can apply for TNEA councelling process. They must meet the miniumum eligibility criteria for BTech course
