TNEA marks are prepared based on the class 12 marks of the candidates who register for the TNEA counselling. The class 12 marks submitted by the candidates during TNEA registration are scaled down to 200 (Mathematics: 100, Physics: 50, Chemistry: 50) using the normalisation process. The marks obtained by students in the qualifying examination conducted by different Boards or authorities will be equated with the marks obtained by students in the same subjects in the qualifying examination conducted by the State Board of Tamil Nadu using a normalisation method.

TNEA 2025 Counselling Process

The TNEA admission process has the following steps:
