The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board has announced the WBJEE 2022 result at wbjeeb.nic.in Candidates can access the result of WBJEE 2022 in online mode by using their application form number and date of birth. Through WBJEE 2022 result, the candidates will be able to check their secured scores and ranks. Candidates will be able to download the result of WBJEE 2022 in the form of a rank card. During the WBJEE 2022 counselling process, the rank card will be required by the authorities.

• Click on the WBJEE 2022 result link
• Candidates will have to provide their WBJEE 2022 application form number and date of birth.
• Click on ‘Sign In’
• The result will be displayed on the screen.
• Candidates will have to download the result as WBJEE 2022 rank card for future use.

WBJEE 2022 Merit List

WBJEEB will release the merit list of WBJEE 2022 after the official result is declared. On the basis of the secured scores, the merit list will be prepared by the candidates. For WBJEE 2022 counselling, the candidates will be called as per their position in the merit list. The category of the candidates will also be taken into consideration while preparing the WBJEE 2022 merit list.

Two types of WBJEE merit lists will be released by the authorities - General Merit List (GMR) will be based on scores secured in PCM and Pharmacy Merit List (PMR) on the scores secured in PCB. A separate merit list will also be released for reserved categories i.e., SC/ST/OBC/PwD/TFW.

Inter-ser-merit for WBJEE 2022 Result

In case two or more candidates secure the same scores in WBJEE 2022, then the authorities will apply the rule of inter-se-merit to allot ranks. The higher rank will be allotted to the candidate who meets the guidelines given below:

• A candidate who has secured less collective negative marks in PCM will be allotted a higher rank.
• If the tie still persists, then the candidate with more collective positive marks in PCM will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie still persists, then the candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry will be allotted a higher rank.
• If the tie is not broken, then the candidate with fewer negative marks in Physics and Mathematics together will be allotted a higher rank.
• In case the tie still exists, the candidate with fewer negative marks in Mathematics and Chemistry will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie is still there, then the candidate with more positive marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.
• If the authorities are still not able to break the tie, then the candidate with more positive marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie is still ongoing, then the candidates with more positive marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie still persists, then the candidates with fewer negative marks in Mathematics for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie still exists, then the candidates with fewer negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.
• If the tie still persists, then the candidates with fewer negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.
• If all of the above policies fail to break the tie, then the candidate who is older in age will be allotted a higher rank.
