In MHT CET exam, the Maths section have 50 questions of 2 marks each. The difficulty level of questions will be similar to JEE Mains but, there is no negative marking in MHT CET.

No, there is no mock seat rounds in MHT CET counselling. The CET Cell conducts MHT CET counselling in three or four rounds. Candidates after registering for the counselling have to enter their preferred choice of college and branch in the order of preference. The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of All India Rank and choices filled by the candidate.
There are 150 MCQs asked in MHT CET exam question paper with four options in each question and only one option is correct. Fifty questions are asked from each subject including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This is an online computer-based test.
The PDF of MHT CET mock tests can be downloaded from Shiksha page. Maharashtra CET Cell releases MHT CET mock tests every year before the start if exams. Students can download the official mock tests by Maharashtra CET Cell or practice it online. Solving mock test before the exam is very beneficial in scoring good marks in the exam.

Candidates preparing for the MHT CET 2026 must know that the Maths questions will be prepared considering the Maharashtra State Board books of class 11 and 12. Also, as per the exam structure, only a few select topics of class 11 are part of MHT CET syllabus and, all class 12 topics are asked in the exam.
