The Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct MHT CET exam 2026 twice this year in April and May. MHT CET 2026 exam dates have been announced for both the sessions.

In MHT CET exam, the Maths section has 50 questions of 2 marks each. The difficulty level of questions will be similar to JEE Mains but, there is no negative marking in MHT CET.
Along with MHT CET Previous Year Math Question Papers, candidates must also solve mock tests to get better understanding of their strong & weak areas and also evaluate their exam preparation level. This year onwards, MHT CET exam will be held in two sessions for both PCM and PCB groups.
- MHT CET 2026 exam date session 1: April 11 - 19 for PCM and April 21 - 26 for PCB.
- MHT CET exam date 2026 session 2: May 14 - 17 for PCM and May 10 - 11 for PCB.

Commonly asked questions
It is not compulsory to attempt all the question in MHT CET exam. Students are advised to attempt only those questions for which they know the correct answer. Questions for which the answer is not sure should be left. However, as there is NO negative marking in MHT CET exam, questions for which answer is doubtful can be attempted in last. Students gets All India Rank based on the marks they secure in exam and gets admission based on that rank.
Question papers will be visible in English, Urdu and Marathi. Candidates can switch the language of the question paper between languages. They can select any language but cannot switch chosen language during exam.
There are 150 MCQs asked in MHT CET exam question paper with four options in each question and only one option is correct. Fifty questions are asked from each subject including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This is an online computer-based test.
