RRB Exam Dates 2025 OUT: RRB NTPC, Group D, ALP Exam Schedule & Shift Timing

RRB Group D selection process comprises CBT, PET/PST, Document Verification and Medical Exam. The PET/PST is qualifying in nature. Though PET/PST is qualifying in nature, candidates are required to clear it. There is weightage of marks for this stage. The final selection of candidates is done based on CBT provided they qualify PET/PST, medical exam and document verification. Medical exam is conducted by the railway hospitals.

RRB group D exam is conducted in both the language which is Hindi and English both and these questions are in the form of objective, so don't worry about the questions in RRB group D. Keep focusing on the syllabus.

The educational qualification for Undergraduate level posts was Class 12. For Graduate-level posts, educational qualification was Graduation. Provided below is the eligibility criteria for few posts: Commercial Apprentice: Degree from recognised University or its equivalent. House Rent Allowance depends on city of posting. X category cities get 24 per cent (INR 4,320), Y category cities get 16 per cent (INR 2,880) and Z category cities get 8 per cent (INR 1,440) of basic pay. Additionally, Dearness Allowance of 34 per cent on basic pay is provided, which amounts to INR 6,120. Candidates are also entitled to a travel allowance based on posting location. The gross salary is around INR 27,920 in X cities, INR 27,000 in Y cities and INR 25,560 in Z cities.

No, both are different exams conducted by separate organisations. The full form of RRB NTPC is Railway Recruitment Board Non-Technical Popular Categories exam conducted for recruitment of Commercial Apprentice, Goods guard, Traffic Apprentice, Traffic Assistant, Assistant Station Master, etc. NTPC stands for National Thermal Power Corporation Limited.

The CBT of RRB Group D comprises questions from General Science, Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness and Current Affairs. RRB Group D application form status link is activated after the completion of the application process. Candidates can check their application status till the completion of the CBT. Through RRB Group D application status, candidates can view the eligibility/ineligibility status of their applications. To check the application status, candidates are required to enter registration number/date of birth and security code.

RRBs also release the modification link for those candidates whose application forms are rejected on the grounds of invalid signatures and photographs. Such candidates can avail this facility to re-upload their photographs and signatures as per the specified format. The modification link and application status are made available on the respective official websites of RRBs.To check the application status and upload the photograph and signature, candidates are required to login with registration number, date of birth, and security code.
