How to Check RRB Group D Cut off?
The RRB Group D cut off will vary on several factors including the difficulty of an exam, number of applicant and category-wise reservations. RRB Group D cut off is the minimum qualifying marks which candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. RRB Group D cut off is released in PDF form and comprises the category-wise cut off marks. There are no sectional cut off marks in the exam. The examination authority releases overall cut off marks for the exam. Candidates securing equal to or more than the cut off marks are selected for the exam. Percentile-based normalisation of marks has been done to calculate the RRB Group D cut off. In Percentile-based normalisation, the marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift of examinees. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candiates that have scored equal to or below that particular percentile in that examination. The percentile score of each candidate is converted into normalised marks by interpolation of raw marks into base shift to decide the RRB Group D cut off marks.
RRB Group D Result 2025-26
RRB Group D result is announced in PDF form. The result comprises the roll numbers of qualified candidates. They need to secure the qualifying marks in the exam. Those qualifying the CBT exam are called for PET. This stage is qualifying in nature. The final merit list is prepared based on the CBT subject to qualifying the PET, document verification and medical exam.

Percentile scores are scores based on the relative performance of all candidates who appear for the examination. The marks obtained are transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift. The percentile score indicates the percentage of candidates that have scored equal to or below (same or lower raw scores) that particular percentile in that examination. Therefore, the topper (the highest score) of each shift get the same percentile of 100 which is desirable. In percentitle-based normalisation, the marks obtained between the highest and the lowest scores are also converted to appropriate percentiles. In case of two or more candidates secure same normalised percentile score, their merit position is determined by age criteria.
RRBs prescribe qualifying as well as overall cut off marks for RRB Group D exam. It is necessary to secure both the cutoffs to clear the exam. Candidates not securing the required cut off are rejected from the further rounds of selection process. Separate cut offs are released for different stages of recruitment.

RRB Group D salary after 7th pay commission ranges between INR 3 to 5 lakh per annum. The basic RRB Group D salary is INR 18000. The in-hand salary is INR 22,000-25,000 per month Besides candidates are also entitled to various perks and allowances.

Yes, there are qualifying marks in RRB Group D exam. The qualifying marks for your and EWS categories are 40 and 30 for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, and ST. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2 per cent for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
