Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Group 2 2025 ( TNPSC Group 2 )

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission mention the TNPSC Group 2 and 2A syllabus in the official notification. There is no difference in the Group 2 and 2A syllabus as the prelims exam is a combined exam for both the group of services. The candidates should note that there is no mention of the weghtage of the topics for the exam. It implies that the Commission can ask any number of questions from any section of the syllabus. The candidates must prepare all the topics mentioned in the official syllabus. The TNPSC Group 2 exam will be conducted on September 28 in offline mode across the state.

The candidates should also internalise the TNPSC Group 2 exam pattern to prepare the exam.  The TNPSC Group 2 syllabus is the key to the preparation of the exam.

TNPSC Group 2 Prelims English Syllabus 2025

The TNPSC Group 2 syllabus will be mentioned in the official notification by the Commission. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission will mention all the topics of the TNPSC Group 2 syllabus in the official notification. The candidates are advised to prepare all the topics mentioned in the TNPSC Group 2 syllabus for the exam preparation. The Commission will not mention the weightage of the topics in the official syllabus. The TNPSC Group 2 syllabus will guide the candidates about the TNPSC Group 2 preparation. The candidates should read and understand the TNPSC Group 2 exam pattern to prepare better for the exam. 

The Commission made changes in the TNPSC Group 2 prelims exam and made the English and Tamil Sections separate. The candidates can opt for either English or Tamil. There is no limitation on the number of attempts in the TNPSC Group 2 exam. There is no mention of limitation on the number of attempts in the official notification. The candidates can appear in the TNPSC Group 2 exam till they fulfil the age criteria. 

Candidates appearing for the TNPSC Group 2 Exam have unlimited attempts as long as they fulfill the age criteria, with the maximum age limit being 30 years.
