BITS Pilani Scholarships 2025
Every year, about 30% of students admitted to Birla Institute of Technology and Science BITS Pilani programmes get semester tuition fee waivers ranging from 15% - 100% in the form of either merit or merit-cum-need scholarships worth INR 2 crore based on multiple parameters. BITS Pilani offers two kinds of scholarships, including merit scholarships and fee concessions. These scholarships are offered across both first degree and higher degree programmes. Merit Scholarships
- Board toppers: Candidates, who have secured the top position in Class 12, are given a merit scholarship of 50% of the first year tuition fee. The minimum overall aggregate of the candidate must be 90% or equivalent in the qualifying exam to avail the scholarship.

Candidates willing to seek admission to any of the higher degree programmes, need to apply for BITS HD by visiting the official website of Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani. The step-wise application process for BITSAT is given below:
1. Visit the official website of the University and click on 'Apply now'. If you have already registered then click on 'Already Registered Candidates' or else you need to click on 'New Registration' tab as shown below.
2. After registration, the application form will open on the screen. Fill the application form by entering important details.
3. After entering important details, you need to pay INR 3,400 application fee for one session and INR 5,400 for two sessions.

The BITS Pilani Rajasthan is spread over an area of 328 acres. It is well-equipped with all the amenities and buildings offers fully-residential programmes only with 11 hostels for boys and one hostel complex for girls. BITS is located in Vidya Vihar adjacent to Pilani town in Jhunjhunu District, Rajasthan. It is 200 kms away from Delhi and 220 km from jaipur. You can take a train from Sarai Rohilla Railway Station in New Delhi (DLI) to Loharu Station (LHU). Loharu is 26 km away from Pilani. Buses and jeeps are available from Loharu to Pilani. The BITS campus is very close to the Pilani bus stand.

The hostel allotment at BITS Pilani is done both on the day of reporting and the day before. There is no fixed criteria for the room allotment. Also, there is no provision of first-cum-first serve as all the rooms are similar looking and allotted randomly.
If parents arrive for students’ admission at BITS campus, they must take care of their lodgings as the college does not provide an accommodation facility. However, once the hostel room gets allotted to students, parents can stay with them for a day until the classes begin. After the beginning of classes, students must stay at the campus only.

BITS admissions 2023 to BE/ BTech, BPharm and MSc courses offered by all three BITS campuses including Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad is based on BITSAT 2023 scores. Further, BITSAT 2023 admission assignment Iteration 7 was the last round for BITSAT Counselling 2023 and there are no further rounds scheduled for the same.
Candidates seeking admission to BITS Pilani MBA course must have passed BE/ BTech/ BPharm/ BArch/ MCA/ MSc or any first-degree course from BITS Pilani with a minimum 60% aggregate, and Mathematics/ Statistics as a compulsory subject in Class 12 with 60% aggregate.
