Political Economy is a branch of Economics which includes study of production and trade and their relations with law, custom and even government. Political Economy admission is based on both the entrance and Class 12 scores. Candidates should pass Class 12 with 50% to be eligbile.

The candidate should have done their Class 12 in Humanities/Commerce with Economics as a subject from a recognised Board and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate.

BA in Political Science

3-Years

The candidate should have done their Class 12 in any stream from a recognised Board and should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate.

MA in Economics

2-Years

The candidate should have done their BA in Economics or any equivalent discipline and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate.

MA in Applied Economics

2-Years

The candidate should have done their BA in Economics or any equivalent discipline and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate.

MA in Political Science

2-Years

The candidate should have done their BA in Political Science/Economics from a recognised University and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate.

MPhil in Economics

2-Years

The candidate should have done their MA in Economics/MCom from a recognised University and secured a minimum of 55% aggregate.

PhD in Economics

3 to 5 Years

The candidate should have done their MA/MCom/MPhil from a recognised University and should have secured  minimum of 60% aggregate.
