As per the exam analysis, candidates who took the TANCET MCA 2025 exam reported an easy to moderate difficulty standard. The exam structure for TANCET MCA 2025 paper was similar to the previous exam session. Candidates had to answer as many as 100 MCQs within 120 minutes. These 100 questions were divided equally across four sections of TANCET MCA exam.
Candidates found 25 questions each from the Quantitative Ability, Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Computer Awareness section. Candidates found the Analytical Ability to be the toughest of all the sections, followed by the Quantitative Ability section. Whereas, Logical Reasoning section was time-consuming with doable questions. The Computer Awareness section of TANCET MCA exam was the easiest this time.

TANCET ewxam answer key is released within 5 days of the exam date. Candidates have to check the TANCET answer key using the login dashboard. TANCET answer keys are released in two phases, provisional and final. Anna University has released the TANCET MCA official answer key online. How to use TANCET MCA Answer Key to Calculate Scores?
Candidates can access the TANCET MCA answer key to calculate their probable score. The space below mentions the steps to calculate TANCET MCA score using official answer key:
1st Step: Access the TANCET MCA answer key from the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu
2nd Step: Using the TANCET answer key for MCA, evaluate the number of correct and incorrect responses.
3rd Step: Add 1 mark for each correct response; deduct 1/4 marks for each incorrect response.
Candidates can use the following formula to calculate the TANCET MCA actual mark:
Candidates are awarded 1 mark for every correct response. There is a penalty of 1/4 marks for each incorrect response. Marking two responses also lead to negative marking.
TANCET MCA 2025 Actual Score = Number of correct responses – 1/4 × (number of incorrect responses)
Based on the total number of test takers, Anna University will convert the actual marks to percentile scores. Candidates will find TANCET actual marks and TANCET percentile score when the results are released.
