Bare Acts for AIBE (XXI) 21 Exam

Bare Acts are an important resource for those preparing for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE). The Bar Council of India (BCI) requires candidates to know bare acts as part of the AIBE 21 (XXI) Exam 2026. The BCI will conduct the AIBE 21 exam 2026 on June 7, 2026. AIBE (XXI) 21 Exam 2026-27 will be held in offline mode. The candidates will be allowed to carry the Bare Acts to the exam hall; however, they should be without comments, short notes or handwritten notes. The AIBE Exam Date, AIBE Syllabus and other important details were announced in the AIBE 21 Notification 2026.

Q:   Can I prepare for AIBE Exam in one month?

If you have topped while pursuing law there is still some chance. But if you were an average student who have not prepared even once for the exam, it is next to impossible to prepare for the exam in one month. 

Q:   Do I need coaching to prepare for AIBE Exam?
A:

No candidates can actually prepare for AIBE Exam along with their class 12th exam. They just need to take out time to prepare for the entrance exam. 

Q:   Should AIBE Exam conducted in open-book format?
A:

Until 2020, the AIBE Exam used to be conducted in an open-book format. While many students have requested to make it open book again, no decision on this have been taken so far.

AIBE Result is not released in offline mode. Candidates will have to visit allindiabarexamination.com. Candidates will have to enter their login details to check the result.

To download the AIBE 21 answer key-

Visit the BCI website.
Login using your registered email address and password.
Now, click on the AIBE XXI Answer Key tab.

No, you can not appear for AIBE Exam if you don't have a hall ticket. AIBE Exam is conducted in pen-and-paper mode. Candidates can not appear in any other mode. Candidates can print the admit card by visiting allindiabarexamination.com in case they loose their hall ticket.

The AIBE syllabus is considered moderate in difficulty, focusing on fundamental legal concepts rather than complex, specialised knowledge. However, since it is no more the open-book exam, candidates have huge syllabus to cover.

No. As per the BCI rules, candidates can not practice in the court of law until they have a certificate of practice. The CoP will be issued only to those who clear the AIBE Exam.

While filling the AIBE Application Form, candidates will have an option to select the language they wish to appear in. The AIBE Exam will be held in 23 languages, including English. Candidates can select the language as per their choice before the application process is over.
