TS PGLCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria - Academic Qualification
Candidates seeking admission through the TS PGLCET Exam must be:
- Should have passed LL.B./B.L. 3/5 Year degree on the date of application, for 1 year LLM
- Candidates who have appeared/appearing for LL.B./B.L. Final year examination are also eligible to apply.
The law college must be recognised by BCI. Therefore, the candidates have to fullfill the following conditions at the time of counselling, in order to secure a seat at the TS PGLCET 2026 law college:
- Candidates must have passed or are appearing in the final year examinations of a five-year LLB course OR three-year LLB course to be eligible admission in LLM Course.
- All General category candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate of all semesters of the graduation degree
- Candidates from the OBC category should have secured 42% marks in the qualifying degree to be considered eligible for admission.
- Candidates from the SC/ ST category should have secured at least 40% marks in the qualifying degree final examinations.
Note: The OBC candidates shall invariably submit their OBC certificate issued by the competent authority to support 42% of aggregate marks in Graduation, as informed by TGCHE.
