The counselling registration for the TS PGLCET 2025 has been closed. Candidates who registered in the counselling can now participate in the web-options exercise to select the college for admission. The TGCHE will then release the list of provisionally selected candidates online on 15-Oct-2025. The candidates whose names will appear in the seat allotment list will then have to visit the allotted college from 16-Oct-2025 to 18-Oct-2025 along with the original documents for seat confirmation and document verification. 

The official website to register for the counselling is lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The counselling process includes online registration, form filling, web options, seat allotment, and college reporting. TS PGLCET exam was conducted for admission to the LLM course offered at the State Universities in Telangana. The following documents are required for TS PGLCET counselling:

The application process for TG PGLCET 2025 for LLM admissions began on March 1, 2025. Candidates can apply for TS PGLCET 2025 LLM admissions, on the official website - https://lawcet.tsche.ac.in/. Candidates can follow the steps as under to fill the application form of TS PGLCET 2025

  1. Go to the official website - https://lawcet.tsche.ac.in/
  2. Click on Application Fee Payment to pay the fee as per the respective category 
  3. After this, candidates have to fill the application form with academic details, upload documents, select test centres and proceed to submit the application form
  4. Once all the steps are complete, candidates can submit and download the application form for future references.

Q:   When will TS PGLCET 2026 application form be released?
A: 

The TS PGLCET application form 2026 will be released tentativley in March 2026, at lawcet.tgche.ac.in. To fill out the registration form, candidates will have to first complete the registration process. Thereafter, they can fill out the application form and pay the application fee to complete the application process. 

There will be four chances to fill out the TS PGLCET 2026 application form. The fees and registration dates for all chances are mentioned below:

Candidates could apply for the TS PGLCET 2025 exam until April 30, 2025 without late fees. However, candidates who miss to apply within the regular deadline can apply for the exam without late as per the schedule on official website. Candidates can now apply for the TS PGLCET until May 26, 2025 with a late fee of INR 4000.

TS PGLCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

TGCHE mentioned the following eligibility criteria for admissions to LLM course:

  • Candidates needed to be an Indian National
  • Candidates needed a bachelor's degree in law either a three-year LLB degree or five-year integrated LLB degree.
  • The candidates appearing for the final .year examination are also eligible to apply for TG PGLCET, however, they should provide proof of qualification at the time of admission
  • Candidates who were seeking admissions for LLM degree (Private Appearance) at Osmania University required experience of at least 3-years as a judicial officer or as an advocate on the date of appearing for TG PGLCET exam
  • Moreover, candidates were also required to satisfy the local/ unreserved status criteria as mentioned by Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974

Q:   Are non-local candidates eligible for TS PGLCET?
A: 

Non-locals or candidates who do not belong to Telangana can apply for TS PGLCET. However, they need to make sure to meet exam eligibility criteria. The criteria are mentioned below:

Qualification
  • Candidates must have completed a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB degree. 
  • Candidates appearing in the final year of their 3-year/5-year LLB degree can also apply for TS PGLCET 2025. These candidates need their final marksheet at the time of TS PGLCET counselling. The minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam (LLB exam) must be met by them.
Qualifying Marks
  • The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total 120 marks).
  • For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed. 
Age Limit
  • There is no age limit to apply for TS PGLCET.
Q:   What are the eligibility criteria for LLM in TS LAWCET?
A: 

The TS LAWCET LLM exam is called the TS PGLCET. The TS PGLCET eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Educational Qualification
  • Candidates must have obtained a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree or a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university.
  • Candidates who are appearing for their final year/semester of the LLB course can also apply for TS PGLCET. However, they need their final year marksheet at the time of TS PGLCET counselling.
Minimum Marks in qualifying exam
  • General & OBC: Minimum of 50% marks 
  • SC/ST/PwD: Minimum of 45% marks 
Age Limit
  • There is no age limit to apply for TS PGLCET.

The LLM entrance exam is conducted as per the TS PGLCET exam pattern mentioned below:

Q:   Can I take TS PGLCET in Telugu?

Candidates will not be allowed to take the TS PGLCET exam in Telugu language. The TS PGLCET exam will have to be attempted in English language only. The questions, guidelines and MCQ type questions will all be asked in English only. Candidates may opt for other national level entrance exams which have the option for students to attempt their paper in other language as well.

TS PGLCET 2025 Admit Card

Candidates will be provided with the admit card/ hall ticket to appear for TS PGLCET 2025 on the exam day. The admit card will be made available for download at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their login details for TS PGLCET 2025 i.e. Application Number, Date of Birth and Mobile Number. The admit card will mention following details on it: 

  • TS PGLCET 2025 hall ticket needs to be printed out on a A4 size paper with clear details.
  • The documents to be carried on the exam day along with the admit card are - PAN card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/Aadhaar Enrolment Number 
  • Candidates can carry a passport size photograph for affixing on the admit card if needed.
  • Candidates should check the details on the admit card with respect to the allotted test centre name and location, exam timings and other information. They must contact the exam helpdesk in case of any discrepancy at least 2-3 days before the exam day to get it corrected.
