TS PGLCET 2026: Exam Date (OUT), Registration, Syllabus, Pattern, Preparation Tips, Results

TG PGLCET Exam is held for admission to the LLM programme by Osmania University, Hyderabad, on behalf of Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE), Hyderabad. Through TS PGLCET, candidates get admission to state universities in Telangana, including their affiliated colleges.

Candidates will be able to apply for the TS PGLCET 2026 exam tentatively in March. The last date of application is not released yet. The application will be available on the website. Applications received late will also be allowed.

The TS PGLCET Notification of the Exam Date has been released on the official website.  This notification mentions the exam dates of the TG Common Entrance Test dates. The notification will also have the aforementioned details for the TS LAWCET 2026 exam.

The TS PGLCET application form 2026 will be released tentativley in March 2026, at lawcet.tgche.ac.in. To fill out the registration form, candidates will have to first complete the registration process. Thereafter, they can fill out the application form and pay the application fee to complete the application process. 

There will be four chances to fill out the TS PGLCET 2026 application form. The fees and registration dates for all chances are mentioned below:

Candidates who meet the following eligibility requirements can apply for the TS PGLCET 2026.

• Must be an Indian citizen.
• Have a bachelor's degree in law, either a three-year LLB degree or a five-year integrated LLB degree.
• Appearing in the final year examination is also eligible; they should provide proof of qualification at the time of admission.

The TS LAWCET LLM exam is called the TS PGLCET. The TS PGLCET eligibility criteria are mentioned below:

Educational Qualification	Candidates must have obtained a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree or a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university. Candidates who are appearing for their final year/semester of the LLB course can also apply for TS PGLCET. However, they need their final year marksheet at the time of TS PGLCET counselling.
Minimum Marks in qualifying exam	General & OBC: Minimum of 50% marks  SC/ST/PwD: Minimum of 45% marks
Age Limit	There is no age limit to apply for TS PGLCET.

Non-locals or candidates who do not belong to Telangana can apply for TS PGLCET. However, they need to make sure to meet exam eligibility criteria. The criteria are mentioned below: 

TS PGLCET Eligibility Criteria
Qualification	Candidates must have completed a 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB degree.  Candidates appearing in the final year of their 3-year/5-year LLB degree can also apply for TS PGLCET 2025. These candidates need their final marksheet at the time of TS PGLCET counselling. The minimum marks requirement in the qualifying exam (LLB exam) must be met by them.
Qualifying Marks	The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 25% (i.e. 30 marks out of total 120 marks). For candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying percentage of marks is prescribed.
Age Limit	There is no age limit to apply for TS PGLCET.

The TG PGLCET syllabus for the Part A section of the paper includes the following two subjects.

Osmania University will release the TS PGLCET 2026 syllabus. Candidates can check the syllabus of TS PGLCET to know the topics for preparation of the exam. The TG PGLCET question paper will be divided into two parts- Part A and Part B. Check the subjects below.

The TGPGLCET paper contains 120 MCQ questions. The question asked will be based on the syllabus of the Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE). Also there will be no negative marking in the paper.

Candidates will not be allowed to take the TS PGLCET exam in Telugu language. The TS PGLCET exam will have to be attempted in English language only. The questions, guidelines and MCQ type questions will all be asked in English only. Candidates may opt for other national level entrance exams which have the option for students to attempt their paper in other language as well. 

The TS PGLCET 2026 marking scheme is given below. To be noted, there will be no negative marking in the TG PGLCET 2026 exam.

Candidates who want to appear in the Telangana Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test 2026 must use given preparation tips to clear the exam in the first attempt.

• Make a preparation plan and stick to it.
• Clear your concepts with the help of books.
• Practice with previous years' question papers or sample papers.
• Attempt a mock test to make sure better performance on the exam day.

The TS PGLCET admit card 2026 will be released on the TGCHE website a few days before the exam. Visit, lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Click on the "Hall Ticket" link. Download the hall ticket using the credentials created during registration.

The following details are mentioned on the TS PGLCET admit card:

• Application number
• Photo
• Signature
• Exam date, time and centre location
• Exam centre instructions to be followed

In addition to the above details, the TS PGLCET admit card may also contain the following information:

• Category
• Gender
• Date of birth
• Address
• Contact information
• Candidates are advised to check the details on their admit card carefully and make sure there are no errors. If they find any mistakes, they should contact the TSCHE helpdesk immediately.

It is important to note that candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid TS PGLCET admit card.

To download the TS PGLCET admit card or hall ticket, TS PGLCET applicants need their TS PGLCET registration number, hall ticket number of their qualifying exam and date of birth. After enetering these details, you need to click on "Download Hallticket" button. 

Once you are done with the TS PGLCET hall ticket, you need to create its multiple printouts for the following reasons: 

• To appear in the TS PGLCET entrance exam
• For admission to a college accepting TS PGLCET through TS PGLCET counselling.

The TS PGLCET 2026 result will be declared after the exams at lawcet.tsche.ac.in. To check the result, candidates will have to visit the mentioned website, click on the result link and log in using their hall ticket number and date of birth as log in credentials. 

If you fail to check the TS PGLCET result or download your rank card, you need contact the TGCHE exam authority via email at lawcet.tsche@gamil.com. 

To check the TG PGLCET 2026 result, candidates can do it in the following manner.

• Visit lawcet.tgche.ac.in.
• Click on Download TG PGLCET 2026 Result.
• Submit the TS PGLCET hall ticket number and date of birth. 
• Access the "View Scorecard" option.
• Save it as pdf for future reference.

The TS LAWCET counselling schedule will be released through the official TSCHE Portal - lawcetadm.tgche.ac.in. TS LAWCET counselling is the procedure by which qualifying students are admitted to various law programmes offered by Telangana universities and colleges based on their ranking and college preferences. 

Candidates who have participated in the TS PGLCET entrance exam and who are interested to get admission to the colleges accpeting the Telangana State PGLCET scores will have to register for the process online through the official website. During the counselling registration process, make sure to keeo the important documents ready including, class 10th & 12th marksheet, email id, mobile number, other qualifying exam marksheets, category certificates, etc.

If you are not satisfied with your seat allotment through the TS PGLCET Counselling, you have the two options.  You can participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling or withdraw from counselling.

Adarsha Law College (ALC) in Warangal offers an LLM program in Corporate Law. Your rank of 1156 in TS PGLCET may be eligible for admission to the LLM program at ALC, as the college accepts students based on the PGLCET rank. However, the final admission decision will depend on various factors such as the number of available seats, the number of applicants, and the college's admission policies. It is recommended to check with the college's admission department for detailed information about the admission process and eligibility criteria.

According to the information provided by you, you have some chances to get admission to LL.M. courses in a private law college in Hyderabad with a 1156 rank. However, because you are applying under the BC-B category, the number of seats available in this category will also determine whether you are admitted. You can submit an application for admission to the Mahatma Gandhi Law College in Hyderabad, the Padala Rama Reddi Law College, and the Adarsha Law College of Hanamkonda. Thereafter, the list of provisionally selected candidates for TS PGLCET will be released. You can refer to this list to ensure whether your are selected for the admission or not.
